SECLUDED COUNTRY VILLA PRIVATE POOL, SEA VIEW NEAR STINTINO, NOT FAR ALGHERO

We have just had a lovely relaxing holiday. The viila is spacious, however, the kitchen area is a tad on the small side, especially as we were a family of six adults. The master bedroom was large with a great patio where we tended to have our lunch. We would recommend the old town of Alghero for a visit - lots to see and plenty of shops.
We agree with one of the reviewers to go and do any major supermarket shopping in Porto Torres.
The beaches were great and we visited quite a few in the area.
The communication received from karen was faultless from the beginning when we booked to the return of our deposit at the end of the holiday. We had one minor problem that was sorted out swiftly by Karen and Tora.
Altogether, a very good holiday "away from it all" in a beautiful country and friendly local people.

From start to finish the organisation and back-up provided by Karen and Nino was excellent. Comprehensive, accurate, available, friendly and helpful.
We took Villa Ezzi for two weeks in June 2012. My wife and I enjoyed the first week on our own and our daughter's family with two boys (3 and 6 years old) joined us for the second week.
The villa is perfect for both small and larger parties. We all still had enough privacy when the group expanded from 2 to 6. The pool is superb and the pool "toys" provided were thoroughly enjoyed by our grandsons, whose swimming much improved during their holiday. The water in the pool reached 26C in the second week.
The sea at Le Saline beach is perfect for all. Gently shelving, sandy bottom, crystal clear, negligible waves, refreshing breeze, on-beach cafe, close and extensive free car-parking (best to avoid Sundays when the Sardinians descend in great numbers). There is no charge for cars at Le Saline whereas we were charged €5.00 to take the car onto Ezzi Manu beach.
The villa is large, clean and well equipped. There are features we never got round to using, there are that many to enjoy.
For shopping., we would recommend a 25 minute trip to Porto Torres where the larger SISA has a much wider offering at prices lower than the Stintino SISA. You have large fridge and freezer upstairs and a standard size fridge downstairs in which to keep your shopping.
For eating, in addition to La Perle del Golfo (so convenient), we enjoyed L'Isolotto and Lu Fanali - both in Stintino.
Avoid using Europcar for your hire car. It took us 2 1/2 hours to queue to get our car and then the tank was not full (as they claimed). Ask Karen and Nino for their advice on alternative car hire companies.
The weather was superb. We did see some cloud - but not many and not for long. The temperature was above 30C, but the villa gets a cooling breeze almost all day, every day and it is constructed so it is always cool. We never needed to use the air conditioning, which was included in the price. Our grandsons did benefit from the aircon which allowed them to sleep on in the mornings.
If you are looking for a relaxing holiday in peaceful surroundings, untroubled by neighbours, with great weather in a quiet and well equipped villa, the we would strongly recommend Villa Ezzi.

What a great villa! Everything is as described but better. The villa was very clean and very well maintained. The booking went very smoothly from start to finish and the detailed welcome pack, emailed prior to departure, didn't leave anything out. The high point was the swimming pool and the complete seclusion the villa enjoys. We saw a number of owls on our return to the villa in the evenings and enjoyed the melodic sheep bells. Ezzi Mannu, the local beach, was great and the nearest town, Stintino, was lovely to visit and has everything you could possibly need. The teenagers enjoyed the holiday, the 9 and 6 year old loved the pool and we, the parents, returned home thoroughly refreshed.
