Activities:
Fishing, golf, horse riding, tennis, and excellent restaurants are all nearby.
There are wonderful weekly markets in the nearby towns. Visit the nearby towns during Market day and enjoy the local food. The best markets are: Libourne (15-20 minutes drive), has a market on Tuesday, Fridays, and Sundays with the Sunday one being the largest and best. Bourg (20 minutes drive) on Sundays. Blaye (45 minutes drive) on Wednesdays (After the market, you can take the ferry across the river to the Medoc region and visit some top wineries). St. Andre de Cubzac (8-10 minutes drive) on Thursdays (smaller but lots of seafood) and Saturdays (larger market).
