The property was great, had everything we needed. The view was amazing and we had a wonderful relaxing time. We kayaked everyday, explored the island, met your nice neighbours from up the hill and saw lots of wildlife, deer, mink, seals, harbour porpoises, otters a sea lion and orcas! It truly is a beautiful spot.
Our family is spread between Vancouver and Toronto and we wanted a retreat where we could get together, to relax and get away from the city.
Our search for a family retreat was over as soon as we saw this property. Having looked at properties on all of the Gulf Islands, this was the only south-facing, low bank oceanfront/beachfront with expansive views of the water. We knew immediately that it was the one!
The ocean view is simply stunning and the beach is literally a stone's throw from the house. Whether we are sitting on the deck or in the living room, even at the sink in the kitchen, we can't take our eyes off of it and the abundant wildlife it is home to.
