This region, called Zupa Dubrovacka, has long fascinated visitors with its natural beauties, lush vegetation, rich culture and crystal clear sea. If you wish to spend your holiday in a small peaceful village, and at the same time have the possibility to visit many interesting destinations that can be reached by car or bus, Villa Agava is the perfect choice for you. Situated in the beautiful little village of Celopeci just 10 minutes drive from the Croatian pearl town of Dubrovnik, this newly built and tastefully decorated villa offers a perfect and peaceful holiday. The nearest shop is a supermarket just 2.5km from the villa. In Dubrovnik, a UNESCO heritage site, you will find plenty of pebble beaches and a good selection of restaurants like ‘Nautica’, ‘Proto’, ‘Dundo Maroje’ in the old town or by the sea which offer local Dalmatian specialities such as grilled fish and meat. Dubrovnik is full of entertainment, culture and architectural heritage; you can also catch ferries to the Elafitski Islands and to Mljet, one of the best National Parks. You should also visit the town of Cavtat on the sea coast just a few kilometres drive away. It has a great selection of restaurants plus some lovely spots for swimming.

A well equipped villa in a good location for Dubrovnik and the Dubrovnik Riviera. The beautiful garden with its private pool is perfect for relaxing whilst beaches are 10 minutes drive. A car is essential.

this villa exceeded all of our expectations! It was wonderful in every respect. We liked the idea of being away from the crowds to enjoy leisurely evenings watching the swallows, then bats, fly around the pool, whilst enjoying a bbq, in the peace and tranquility of this setting, whilst being within such easy access of beaches, the wine region,stunning coast line and of course Dubrovnik, with its history, excellent restaurants and nightlife if you so choose.

We had a wonderful week in Croatia all the better for staying in this villa and with such helpful owners, when you needed it (organising a taxi into Dubrovnik one evening for us) without being intrusive.

We would definatley recommend this villa with the added bonus of the pool, makes it an ideal retreat.
