About Chau Nguyen
Chau (like Jo but with ‘ch’ sound) Nguyen and her family moved to Montana in 1996 looking for a slower pace and a higher quality lifestyle. They lived in the Shields Valley area for the first 6 years but later moved to Livingston to be closer to the town activities and be more involved with the community.
When the children were little, Chau was an at home mom and a potter. Once her kids started school Chau was able to have more time teaching art classes at the non profit Livingston Center for Art and Culture (LCAC). Then Chau resumed her professional career as a business analyst to a local online printing company, PrintingForLess. Chau continues to be involved with the community as past president & board member of the LCAC and a jewelry artist.
Nowadays, Chau enjoys taking care of the Red House, provides enjoyment for her guests and spending more time with her daughter before she leaves home for college. Last but not least, Chau hopes to spend more time expanding her skills and experiences in the art of jewelry metal smithing. Chau loves traveling and cooking with her friends. If you have questions about Livingston, Montana and/or your stay here, Chau would be happy to speak to you.

Why Chau Nguyen chose Livingston
We purchased the Red House as an investment rental and has been leasing it on a yearly term. We have put lots of time, work & updates to the home and decided to change it in 2014 to a short term vacation rental so we can share one of “the last best places” with more guests.
What makes this house unique
Livingston is a friendly little town with a wonderful home town village feel where we all watch out and help each other. There are plenty of outdoor guide services available for those who want to fly fish or hike and need a hand. Also great rafting and floating opportunities.
The Red House is well furnished and comfortable with all amenities of home. Great large shady back yard for relaxing and sharing an outdoor meal with your family & friends.
Convenient location - easy walking distance to grocery, park, river, movie theatre and local downtown eateries. You can choose to either get away from it all or immerse yourself in outdoor adventures & festivals. Outdoor enthusiasts, nature lovers, artists and writers, this place is your home!
