Sky Blue House offers comfortable accommodations, with three bedroom and three bathroom.

It's a three story home. In the first floor you will find the kitchen with basic appliances where you can cook or have a chef to prepare a delicious dinner (upon request, additional service), the living room with cable TV, DVD and Wi-Fi, a bathroom and the laundry room, in the second floor you will have two bedroom(one of the bedroom has a bunk bed) with a share bathroom, air conditioning in each room, and the third floor has the Master bedroom fully air conditioned with its own private bathroom, and a balcony overlooking the gardens and the ocean.

The Fully furnished house features artistic design custom woodwork and hand-carved doors. It sits on 2 acres property with beautiful landscaping(palm trees and hibiscus plants), there is a natural stream that runs in the property and there is a stone stairway from the house to the river.

Sky blue house is located in a small community called San Martin Sur, 300 meters off the Coastal highway in a well maintained and conveniently accessible road, ideal for all types of vehicles.

Our area is full of adventure and activities in the rainforest and they are all within 10 miles away from the house.

There is also many facilities, stores, restaurants, bars, spa, yoga studios, and many more.

Getting here is easy: We will help you arrange transportation. You may wish to fly from San Jose to Quepos(regional airport 20minutes flight) then rent a car and drive to Dominical(25 minutes drive), or rent a car in San Jose and drive down enjoying the coast and scenic mountains(2.5 hours) or we can arrange a shuttle to pick you up at the airport and bring you right to the house and then rent a car when you get here.

Our rental coordinator Ivannia Zuniga will be in touch with you upon your arrival to welcome you and assist you in anyway possible.

If your plan is to have a relaxing and adventurous vacation with the family and/or friends then Sky Blue house will be waiting for you. We are also open for long term rental.

About Ivannia Zuniga

Retired from fortune 500 company. We fell in love with Costa Rica and may move there someday. We bought the Sky Blue House during our first visit form Jane W. a member of the famous GoGo's girls band of the 80s.

This house rocks. It has an ocean view and is has a beautiful mountain stream. It is a fun place to visit and is very tranquil.

What makes this house unique

Very easy two wheel access one block off of the Coastal Road. The joy of seeing monkeys pass by the house daily along the mountain stream. The tranquility of the mountain stream next to the house has inspired authors and play writes who stayed at the house. The beautiful ocean view, and the excellent Coastanera highway to Domincal and Uvita. There are many opportunities to see and enjoy attractions such as the Baru nature reserve and Zip line tour, and the horseback riding to the famous Nauyaka Waterfalls tour. People also rave about the Corcovado National wildlife Tour and surfing in the area.

Notes: Maid service is provided once a week, If you would like more frequent service it can be arranged prior to your stay for a small additional fee, Troops of Congos, (Howler Monkeys) and White Face Monkeys are present most of the time, If you do not hear their very distinctive howl, look for swaying branches in the trees, Also look for whales migrating from our third floor wrap around balcony. Wonderful place 2 blocks off the coastal highway

I took my wife and two teen daughters to this home in March 2012. We were treated to howler monkeys, white faced monkeys and bright red and bright green frogs, 1 morpho butterfly and many more creatures right on the property. We love this place and would love to return some day!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway
