This spacious tropical villa located in the Crown Point area is situated walking distance away from the natural crescent shaped beach, fringed with mature palms and tropical vegetation.
From the front of house, take the path directly Crescent Beach, just around the corner from the house and a popular beach for families to swim and snorkel.

Our favorite memories are sitting on the spacious rounded decks that surround each level with friends and family, enjoying the unobstructed view across the bay over to the uninhabited islands of Balliceaux & Battowia.
Natural Stone Floors & Windward Breezes
The floors and most walls throughout are made from local stone and maintain a cool temperature underfoot.
Due to Crown Point being located upon the east side of the island, guests can enjoy the natural air conditioning from the trandwinds that rushes through the house via the floor to ceiling height windows and the wraparound veranda. The wraparound veranda is curved and with bench seating.

Crown Point House has two private driveways accessing the property from below and also from the top.
The property comes with housekeeping and maintenance personal, Sonia and Amos. They make Crown Point House a home. Amos tends to the grounds Monday through Friday and Sonia is here on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday for housekeeping.
Sonia is a wonderful cook and may be hired to prepare meals for you for $175 US dollars. Her jams and jellies are a delicacy and make lovely gifts. Sonia typically cooks a delicious free-range roasted chicken dinner for 6 upon arrival, (excluding Christmas Day) which includes shopping, food costs and cooking. If there are 4 diners, there are usually leftovers for a day or two. If 2 diners, 2 days or more.
This villa is arranged on separate levels, 3 separate buildings which are all connected closely together by numerous stone steps, giving guests an incredibly private feel regardless of which area they are staying in.
The lower house is made up of the main living area which is located upstairs with it’s large open concept kitchen, sitting and dining room, all of which open up to a large balcony which surrounds the entire building. The lower levels of this building have 2 bedrooms, both with comfortable en-suite bathrooms, one of which is a studio apartment with its own kitchen.
The middle building located only about 10 feet further has yet another two bedrooms, with a workshop and laundry room located in the basement. The top house is a garage and storage area.

2 bedrooms; master bedroom king bed with a full bath has ocean views and the second bedroom faces the garden.
Lower level of upper building has
Washer and half bath.
Outside shower and a half bathroom, Kitchen and washer and dryer.
The lower level is a 2 bedroom suite, one full shower, full kitchen /bar dining area.
A modern style villa, built in 1974 and beautifully designed and maintained in a simple, uncluttered contemporary style, The Crown Point House is surrounded on 3 sides by verdant, tropical vegetation.
The garden to the main entrance frames the house with a variety of vivid tropical blooms.
The walls have been decorated in cool, fresh modern colors and there are plenty of chairs and cushions for guests to relax on and enjoy those special views.

There are 5 double bedrooms offering 3 separate sleeping areas within the villa, therefore an ideal choice for a large group of friends or larger family group, where guests can enjoy the open plan living spaces together and retain a sense of their own privacy too.
3 Interconnected Structures
The 3 sections to this villa are all connected by a series of stone steps. In the main building there is one double bedroom on the lower level and there are 2 further double bedrooms on the first floor living area, a small practical kitchenette, a living room and bathroom, perfect for a family of 4 or 2 couples. The top floor of this main building has the main kitchen leading onto the open plan living and dining space which in turn leads out to the tiled wraparound verandah offering excellent ocean and island views and the perfect place to relax and enjoy a great book and or cocktail.
Quiet, Residential Location
Crown Point is a quiet residential area on Bequia, close to two lovely palm fringed beaches, while also just a 7-10 minute drive from the harbor and the dive shops, bars and restaurants. This villa provides the ideal location for a relaxing vacation, close to the beach, quiet and cool but within walking distance of the main amenities on Bequia.
There is ample parking space for 3-4 cars at Crown Point House. A hire car would be recommended while on Bequia.
We enjoyed our stay in Crown Point House very much, and were charmed with the island. The house is beautifully designed to take advantage of the trade wind. All the best in 2015!
We loved Crown Pointe!!! Our family vacationed at Crown Pointe and it could not have been better!!! It is perfect for families or groups as the layout allows privacy for more than one family. It has everything you need and Crescent Beach just a walk away has incredible snorkeling and is beautiful. The location is quiet and the view is unbeatable!!! During calm seas, snorkeling along the edge of Crescent Bay Reef is spectacular. The Crown Point House is walking distance from Hawksbill Turtle Sanctuary and further exploration towards the more remote side of the island. A short drive into Port Elizabeth (Harbor) offers many favorite restaurants.
