About Marie Yvonne and Pierre Freyssinge
After college and some professional years in Paris (Pierre who is a doctor, and Mary, an Interior designer) it is the call of the sea... Pierre became a professional skipper, participates to many transatlantic races, Ushaïa, the Seychelles and the whole Mediterranean Sea; Mary installs her art studio, specializes in colour, still teaches and works in Paris so she comes and goes; while enjoying the cruises on the sailing boat they had for many years. Today, after some years in the mountains of the Southern Alps, they are attracted by Asia and travel a lot.
Marie Yvonne and Pierre Freyssinge purchased this house in 1981
Why Marie Yvonne and Pierre Freyssinge chose Carqueiranne
Provence, sun, aromas of childhood and a taste for freedom have attracted us to the south of France; for him, already a sailing instructor in the Glenans and having spend his holidays in St-Malo as a child, the sea decided his career change! The idea of renting was obvious since our house was empty a great deal of the summer.
What makes this house unique
A large space opens on the sea and the fields, and brings you peace and the feeling to be 'out of this world'. Easy to live in: close to the cities, 15 min from the airport and the harbour of Hyères, half an hour from Toulon, and its shops and markets.
