Finikoundas Vacation Rental : Finikounda

One of my most memorable holidays in the past few years was the time I spent in Greece.

Through the Internet I found a place, an ELDORADO, called VILLA OLIVIA.

On the southernmost point of the Peleponese, near the village of Methoni, a dutch-italian couple are in the tourist trade, but in a very unconventinal way.

They have 2 appartments to let, (1 sleeps 4, the other sleeps 2) and I stayed in apartment Daphne.
I had this wonderfull experience of joy and fullfilment, peace and quietness, nature.......and the sea. The view is spectacular, you'll spend hours in contemplation.

To wander about..... it's a miracle; but you do need your own transportion to go to more distant archeological sites and sightseeing.

I'd go for walks at 5 or 6 a.m. and upon my return my hosts would be ready to talk and help me out in any way I required and later on, over coffee or tea we would exchange our vieuws on life's journey. We struck upon friendship bothways.

This is really more valuable than any materialistic providings.

The studio's are spic&span, with all facilities, but oftentimes I would be invited for dinner upstairs, which lasted for hours.

I'll never forget this episode, and I would recommend anyone to check it out and possibly book your holidays with these fine people, Sabine & Bruno.

I'm gratefull and will certainly consider another stay with them.
