Villa Olivia is situated on a hill with olive grooves with a spectacular view on the bay of Finikunda, on the south-western tip of the Peloponnese in the province of Messinia; a harmony of peace and beauty.

The house was built in 2005 and it has 2 apartments on the ground floor and one on the first floor, each with a covered terrace and beautiful views also on the Tayegetos mountains. The breeze coming from the sea makes it, even in summer, agreeable to sit among the olive trees in the garden.There you can also use a traditional oven to make your own bread or bake a pizza! The nearest beach ( Mavrovoumi) can be reached by foot in 20 minutes and in 5 minutes by car.

Apartment Daphne (55m2)on the ground floor, for up to 5 persons. It consists of: a living area with an open kitchen and a sofa-bed, a half-open bedroom with 2 single beds, a bedroom with 2 single beds, a big bathroom with a shower and a huge covered terrace (25 m2) with magnificent view over the Mediterranean sea. The apartment is also accessible for wheelchairs.

The nearest village is Finikunda (2,5 km) scattered with small, often authentic taverna's and restaurants, right at the shore.

You can also visit the promontory in Methoni, a crumbled castle overlooking the expansive seas or the ancient site in Pylos, previously a monastery, now a well-kept open-air museum.

The 40 km of coast between Roumanou and Koroni, through Voidikilia, Pylos and Methoni, let me tell you, is breathtaking!. It is the last region in Europe that isn't yet spoiled by mass-tourism. Lovers of sailing, surfing and diving come here from everywhere to enjoy their passions. Voidikilia is a protected nature site (Natura 2000) with the Yialova Lagoon and its fantastic bird life, chameleons, sea turtles, ancient castle and stunning cove of Nestor!

Golf: In may 2010 they open a golf circuit in Roumanou, 25 km from Finikunda; it is one of the most beautiful golf areas in Europe.

What a lovely way to spend two weeks in southern Greece. The owners, Sabine and Bruno, are absolutely lovely people and the Daphne apartment we stayed in which had two sleeping areas and a living and kitchen and a grand balcony was even better than advertised and only three minutes by car to a long stretch of sandy beach. Villa Olivia, nestled in a deligthful olive grove, on the slopes above the bay is the best getaway for a quiet break. For our two kids aged 6 and 9 the apartment was perfect in size and more than adequate in providing space for them to draw, play or run in the garden while the parents slip a glass of dry white wine on the veranda, perched above the Messinian blue sea. Will definitely recommend it

The appartment was clean, location very quiet , Sabine & Bruno are some of the most welcoming hosts we have ever met. From the beginning to the end we felt at home and would not hesitate to come back in future, hopefuly in a better season.

thank you for wonderful apartment that were comfortable. It's a great pity that we haven't met Sabine but Bruno was very friendly and hospital.
