Campagnan House Rental Photos and Description

Near the village of Campagnan, in the South of France, among vineyards, garrigues and pine tree groves, stands a beautiful bastide recently built in the traditional style of a Mediterranean wine-grower's house. Facing south, it is surrounded by a 1,800 square metre garden dotted with trees and flower beds. The surrounding area is very quiet.

The house, which sleeps 12, is very practical and especially suitable for family holidays. On the ground-floor a spacious lounge opens onto a lawn and swimming pool through four French windows. A bedroom is also located on this floor and there are four more bedrooms upstairs. The whole house is decorated and furnished with taste and is also equipped with high-quality appliances.

A large covered summer terrace provides an outdoor dining-area with a sink and barbecue. The garden is fenced in and safe for children. The pool is 10 metres long, 4 metres wide and 2.80 metres deep at the deepest part. It is equipped with an alarm and an outdoor shower.

Nous sommes arrivés dans un cadre idyllique, maison d'un grand confort et de qualité idéale pour un séjour en famille. N'oublions pas l'accueil chaleureux de la propriétaire d'une grande disponibilité et très serviable. Maison tranquille, avec une très belle vue sur la campagne environnante. Nous avons passé des vacances de rêves dans un endroit grandiose! La villa répondait vraiment à nos attentes. Tout était très propre, très confortable. La piscine et le jardin sont super. La villa est très spacieuse et très bien équipée.Très bon accueil de la propriétaire. Vacances réussies... Juste un peu trop courtes...

Campagnan is located in the River Hérault valley, 40 km or 40 minutes away from the two cities in the region, Montpellier and Béziers. Built on a hill planted with vineyards, the village faces south and for these reasons overlooks the countryside and is literally bathed in sunshine. Only a few kilometers away from the main road and the motorway (the A75, also known as La Méridienne) the village is easily accessible yet wonderfully peaceful.

There are shops in Saint-Pargoire (1 km away) and Paulhan (3 km away) and supermarkets in Clermont l'Hérault and Pézenas, both about 15 km away. In Campagnan, a small grocer stocks basic foodstuffs, including fresh bread.

The beaches are 30 km30 minutes away. There are plenty of places to visit in the area, which is also perfect for hiking, trekking or mountain biking.

Montpellier International Airport is 50 km away and Carcassonne International Airport is 125 km away; there are Ryan Air flights to these two airports.
