We stayed here for a week, we didn't enjoy our stay, all three of us got bed bugs, the fridge was broken and the washing machine and the fridge were leaking. The dishwasher didnt work at all. There was wifi advertised but when we arrived there was none. Also there was a bond we had to pay on entry, yet it was not advertised upon booking. We were more than happy to clean up, yet the vacuum was broken, there was no cleaning products. Overall for what we paid for the week (7 days) it was worth about half. Would have been better to stay in a hostel. The positive was the location which was great and the weather was fantastic.

It is very difficult for me to answer these charges such I do not understand.
I take very special care of bedding and sheets protection are checked and cleaned before any moving, mattresses are great quality (Simmons).
All the machines work very well (washing machine, dishwasher, the fridge or vacuum), so I'm very skeptical about these unfounded accusations just to hurt. The following tenants have also had no problem getting them to work. Maybe they did not understand because the manuals are in French. It's a shame they have not told me there as I would have gladly told them rather than been attacked like this in the future.
This being said, I have to let you know that at the moment, tenants are renting the same flat, and they are very fine with everything. They did not point out any of the broken items you mentioned.
For the rest, I am quite confused but I can say that everything is stated in the contract.
Therefore I invite you to refer to those documents to review and see that :
- The meaning of the payment of a "Bond"
The "bond" paid upon arrival is called "Taxe de séjour" or if you prefer the "Tax to stay" - There is no hidden tax as it is clearly mentionned in the tenancy agreement we signed together.
It is common use in France for properties of that size and of that price range. This tax has to be payed by the tenant upon arrival as it is charged per person.
Amount is 0.50€/day per person.
- As for wireless, there is no unfortunately but I had told them by email, maybe my English is poor (and it is clearly notice in homelidays, homeways and websites...)
- Full payments is made upon arrival
I have always done that way and I always have very good feedbacks from tenants.
And if for some reason something is not OK, I do my best to fix.
Therefore I am not willing to change anything for now as I do my best and work hard to satisfy everybody.
Hoping to have responded to these attacks more than free. They arrive with very bad mood (because I ask them to pay) and they did not have any desire to clean (they have done very badly because I need 3 hours to make maid after their departure),
I notice that it 's possible not to do the cleaning mentionning it.
I hope the english people who come each year for 5 years will not believe all these stories and I continue to welcome as well.
