The Jesse Cooper cottage sits just behind the Historical Jesse Cooper House built in 1911. We are 2 1/2 miles from Georgetown sitting atop the hill on Wilbarger Point. You can see Georgetown, as well as Southwestern University from our hilltop. The cottage has one bedroom and one bath. It is furnished and decorated to make you feel at home and to give you the opportunity to relax and enjoy the view. The kitchen is fully equipped with all needed appliances. The cottage has a full size washer and dryer, direct tv, flat screen tv, and is centrally heated and air conditioned. We are a pet friendly property. We have pets and are glad to allow you to bring your pet, with a special agreement with us. We love to garden, so you will be able to experience gardening (and possibly some fresh veggies), while you are here. We are 1/2 mile west of I-30 and 3 miles east of I-35. You have easy access to Georgetown, Austin, Round Rock, and the Hill Country. We are willing to have a special dessert waiting for you in the cottage upon your arrival by special request. We live on-site, so are always happy to help with locations of places you would like to visit. We have tried to make the cottage a place that we would enjoy staying in.

Susan or Jimmy Snow
Jimmy and I moved to Wilbarger Point, after searching for the perfect 'old house'. We have spent hours and hours giving the property the tender loving care it needed to bring it back to life. Susan is a retired elementary school teacher and Jimmy recently retired, after 41 years with the electric company. Our priorities are Faith, Family, and Friends. We love spending time with our family/ grand-kids, gardening, hunting, fishing, sewing, quilting, smocking, cooking, and canning. Our two children, Corrie and Josh, both graduated from Texas A & M. Their spouses also graduated from Texas A & M. We love living in Georgetown and are thrilled with the opportunity to share our place with others.
We both have always loved old houses and old things. When we moved to Georgetown, the historical properties always charmed us. We fell in love with San Gabriel park and spent many hours there when our kids were younger. When we learned of the Jesse Cooper House, we spent several years trying to make it ours. When the timing was right, it happened and we have been blessed to live here.
From the hill, we have a wonderful view of the sunsets and sunrises. There is always a breeze. You get the feel of being out in the country, but also the luxury of being close to town.
