Orangetree is situated in a lovely area of rolling hills, lakes and orange groves, but is only a 10 minute easy drive from Disney. This is a peaceful area with none of the noise, bustle and congestion that plagues the Kissimmee area. Beautiful Lake Louisa State Park, with its white sand beaches and plentiful wildlife is only three miles away.
Your vacation home is located on a quarter acre corner lot in the heart of the community well away from traffic noise. Orange Tree won "Best Floridian house" in the Daily Telegraph/Homes Overseas magazine awards.

We bought Buttermere off plan on Valentines Day 2004 after staying in a friends villa nearby where we had the Eureka moment "We could do this !" and the rest is history ! Our family and ourselves stay here three or four times a year, and we love planning improvements and upgrades.
We are both from Northeast England, Jan is a retired history teacher from Yorkshire who enjoys travelling, theatre, live music, and the good things in life.
I am from Washington in County Durham and am a semi-retired engineer in the construction industry. I was a keen mountaineer/hill walker until arthritis [ and middle age!] took it's toll, and became a born again musician after a thirty year layoff ! You can sometimes find me playing guitar and singing at Kelly's bar in Clermont.
Orange Tree appealed to us for several reasons. The location is wonderful, really peaceful and quiet, but so convenient for everything. The community has much bigger lot sizes than other developments, and has full sidewalks, parks and street lighting, and so feels very open and spacious.
Orange Tree has at its heart a five acre park with tennis and basketball courts, a soccer pitch and its own orange groves all of which are free to guests. A great way to start your day is to pick an orange or two and then have a stroll around the community or in the conservation area before breakfast.
With our large and overlooked corner lot you won't be bothered by noise from adjacent pools. [But you can make as much noise as you like and it won't bother anyone !]
