Pahoa Cottage Rental Photos and Description
Studio Cottage sleeps 3, kitchen, full bath with rainforest jungle views
Aloha - We are open for business. We are offering a special fall rate of $50/night + tax and $40 cleaning fee until Nov. 1. The hurricane passed us by and so has the lava flowing towards Pahoa. The lava is currently flowing to the North and East of us and downhill. Our business will remain open and uninterrupted in the event that the lava flows over HWY 130. The County of Hawaii has designated alternate routes around HWY 130 into Hilo.
Awake to the sound of the song bird in the morning. You will love the real peace of being close to nature while staying at our Puna Rainforest Cottage. We are located at 1200 ft elevation so our temperatures at night are always cool and very comfortable. With the beach only 15 minutes away you can have the best of both worlds - sunny weather and restful rainforest. We are located near the Puna Forest Reserve and are surround by acres of ohia forests. Our studio (1 room) cottage sleeps up to three persons with a queen bed and a futon, a full bath and a full kitchen. Our cottage all has a full lanai (porch) with a distant ocean views. We have a common area with a propane BBQ grill, and we just installed free wireless internet, suitable for checking email. If you need a faster connection, you there is an internet cafe in Pahoa.
You will love the tropical decor and accents and will be comfortable for a night or for a week's stay or longer.
Visit funky Pahoa town, only 4 miles away for local restaurants, shops and markets. Lots to do and see here, and we are centrally located for your stay. Visit Hawaii's Volcanoes National Park, the Ahalanui Beach Park with the warm ponds for swimming, Pohoiki Park for ocean swimming and surfing, the Lava Tree State Park, and many other sites to visit while here.
