Additional information about rental rates

  • A Non refundable Deposit of one third is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. The full balance is due six weeks prior to your arrival date. A £100 security deposit is payable 6 weeks prior to arrival to cover minor breakages / damage. This will be returned within 7 days of departure if the premises are left clean and in good order with no items missing / damaged
  • The deposit and balance is non refundable if the cancellation occurs within 6 weeks of the arrival date.
    Details of Holiday insurance policies to protect against cancellation charges are available.
  • If cancellation occurs the owner will endeavour to re let the property. If this is possible cancellation charges will be refunded.

There is a wooden cot and travel cot with a mattress protector provided for each stay so you know that the beds will be hygienic and clean. Please ask if you require any of these items. There are a number of games and books which your children will love!

an excellent place to stay with everything to keep all happy. The children were off playing the wii, leaving us adults to peace and quiet downstairs. A most enjoyable stay and would come again and recommend it to friends and family. very clean and tidy with everything you need, home from home.
Owner's Response: Always a joy to hear our guests have enjoyed their hard earned stay. There are now even more facilities for the children with the addition of the X box 360 and Wii Fit Board for those of us "older kids" brave enough to climb on the scales...

Our stay at Hesketh Mews was 9th-15th March 2009.

The accommodation is well presented and equipped and should meet most requirements. We didn't make use of the hot tub or bbq facilities (well, it was March!) but can see that others would appreciate these options. Garage parking for small car or plenty on-street.

Main Torquay harbour and shopping streets a short car or taxi trip away (or a good work-out by foot over hill).

Owner has put a lot of effort into producing a comprehensive user's manual and we recommend using this as a first point of reference as it covers most things you will need to know.

Plenty of excellent restaurants close-by, spoilt for choice really.

We enjoyed a quiet and undisturbed time which was just what we wanted.

Highly recommended!

Dear Ian and Trudy,

We have just had the most amazing break at Hesketh Mews - the weather was fantastic, we were on Meadfoot beach every day in shorts and t-shirts! The house is excellent - you really have thought of everything, it is so well equipped and the hot tub especially was a real treat. Everyone had a truly wonderful break and it was really lovely for my children to enjoy the sort of holiday I did at their age on the very same beach!

Many thanks and I am sure we will be contacting you again when we know the school holidays for 2009!
