This owner occupied Bed and Breakfast offers two units.
Unit #1 - The Sunset Deck retreat! This is a private room directly off the upper deck with a private entrance, bathroom with a shower overlooking the lake, 10 foot fan fold doors which allow you to either sleep fully open to the lake, closed off or closed off with the draperies drawn. The room faces westward and opens onto the 45 foot deck overlooking Cayuga Lake which is, at this point, about 3.5 miles wide. Amenities also include an electric fireplace, air conditioning, and satellite TV. It is most suitable for 2 guests but may be expanded to accommodate one or two children on bunk cots.
Unit #2 - The Tree House! The Tree House offers a totally separate room with an at grade entrance from the lawn and a lakeside balcony 20 feet above the beach. It faces westward overlooking the lake and also features a private bathroom with shower overlooking the lake. It is suitable for parties of one or two.
Both units include the shared use of the dock, lower patio, barbecue center, beach, kayaks and fire pit (your firewood!). You will also have access to and the use of the kitchen in the cottage.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The bonfire at sunset on the lake was amazing. Owner was very gracious about our pets. Very attentive to our requests. Highly recommend.
My stay was truly a little like heaven on earth. I stayed in the sunset deck, and was afforded a full view of the lake, obstructed only by the gorgeous overhanging limbs, whose leaves fluttered with the breeze and added restful ambiance continuously. Imagine lying in bed, with nothing between you and the great outdoors but a set of folding, see through doors, which could be easily left open, if one desired. The sounds of the lake--the waves gently lapping the shore, the birds calling as they soar above the water, the muffled sounds of an occasional boat crossing in front of you, intermingled with the aroma of the fresh air and water, were only surpassed by the sight of the fireflies dancing above the deck at night, competing with the light of the full moon shining down on my bed. The bathroom and its shower were awesome--all stone tile, being able to gaze at the lake while showering to the sounds and breezes off the lake rushing in through the port hole window in the shower itself (which can be opened or left closed), made even a plain shower into a memorable treat! Huge trees, long dock, terrific little lakeside patio, and intriguing "tree house" (which I'll stay in next), an intelligent and attentive owner, who with his marvelous dog, Koko, is the perfect host----all combine into a delight for all the senses, a perfect sanity-restoring getaway, a place you won't ever want to leave. I just can't say enough about its restorative qualities. Surely, I've found Shangri-la.
I have gone to this cottage two different times and have already reserved both suites for August. Firstly - you get sun ALL DAY long from sunrise to sunset right over the lake. The view is AMAZING! It is so quiet on the lake we just sat on the dock for hours with a few drinks enjoying the day between bbq's. Ron, the owner is one of the nicest people I have met and he treats the place like a home - you can walk into his house and grab what you need when you need it. He's also pet friendly which is so hard to come by and his dog Coco is a great treat to have around through the day to follow you around. We stayed in the Tree house and the view, privacy and patio are amazing. Bang for your buck there is just no way that you can beat this place. It is amazing. You are right on the water - I mean ON the water and it is so serene that this will be a place that we go to for years to come. I can't say enough about how great this place is - especially for the price.
