I grew up here, graduating from Chimacum 1-12. The Oak Bay house sits on property that has been in the family since 1873, where my great grandfather farmed it. My grandparents lived in this one time Boat House , and remodeled it for there home. The home then went to my uncle. My parents and my sister would come down to the beach every summer. We had so much fun playing on the beach and the rocks. In 1963 my parents built there home to the South of Grandma and Grandpas house. My uncle passed away in 2013, then the beach house became mine.. Growing up on the Beach has been a memory that I will always treasure. Some day it will belong to the next generation. My sister owns the house next door. My other Uncle owns just past her along with cousins past him, and up above. One of my cousins owns the house up on the hill, that he rents out. Named: Oak Bay Getaway.
I have lived in Jefferson County all my life and my Husband and I live in Port Townsend.
