Dominican Republic: Heavenly beaches guaranteed, but in addition this island offers a variety of landscapes to be discovered, either by foot, VTT, motorbike, quad, jeep or, ideally, on horseback. Rivers, lakes and waterfalls, forests and caves, mountains, valleys and lowlands.

Activities in the area: Not to be missed during the mating season January-March, marine biologists organise humpback whale watching excursions in the beautiful bay of Samana. Scuba diving for all levels throughout the year to discover the coral reef ecosystem and marine life. National Park of Los Hiatises and the Reserve of Limon are well-worth visiting. Numerous sporting activities such as deep sea fishing, horse riding, tennis, sailing, windsurfing, jet ski and quad adventure.

Transfers: From Samana El Catey, 50 minutes by car .From Santo Domingo 30 minutes plane flight with Air Santo Domingo or by private taxi plane for 3, 4 or 5 people. 2h1/2 hours by taxi or bus. From Puerto Plata 3 hours by taxi. All transfers may be handled by villas' proprietors on request or through on site tour agencies. We will welcome you to the residence and provide you with essential items for your first morning.
