We visited the chalet from August 11th thru the 14th. It was a perfect place. Beautiful home, very well-equipped. Rudi and Bert were very helpful and friendly. It was the 'just right location' between the 2 parks. We would come back again any time to stay in their house.
This was an amazing house!! We comfortably fit 9 people (7 kids). Conveniently located within lots of wonderful parks and beautiful scenery!
We thoroughly enjoyed our five day stay in this warm and welcoming mountain home between Bryce and Zion Parks. The house is maintained beautifully and well equipped with everything you need. The beds are extremely comfortable and the master bathroom with dual showers and soaking tub is wonderful after a long day of hiking or sightseeing. We enjoyed relaxing in the evening in the great room in front of the fireplace where you can put your feet up and watch TV, read or just have a fire. We also loved having lunch on the back porch and around the firepit. There is a barbecue and all the dishes and pots you need in the well stocked kitchen. The heating worked great on cold nights to keep the house a perfect temperature. It is truly a great location and we definitely plan to return as the area is so beautiful with many canyons to explore. Thank you for allowing us to share your home.
My wife and I enjoyed a relaxing 5 days/nights at this well-maintained property. The house was exactly as advertised. The great room was truly the highlight of the home - great lighting, expansive, comfortable and furnished generously yet tastefully. The master bedroom was also a highlight as well as the master bath complete with a large Jacuzzi-style tub. A massive deck sits just outside the great room/kitchen and allowed for great morning views of the sunrise as well as several deer that meander through the brush nearby.
Overall, we didn't have any complaints. Location of the property was perfectly situated between Bryce and Zion National Parks. Easy drive to both! Booking was simple and the owners answered all our questions up front in a timely fashion. We would definitely stay here again. A true 5-star property and experience!
My family of 6 adults arrived to a beautiful, well equipped, clean home. Our main goal was to spend time together eating, relaxing and spending time in Bryce--and we succeeded. We were comfortable and had plenty of room to spread out. We did have trouble controlling the smokiness of the fire we built in the fire pit and thought it might have had something to do with the lid that hung overhead, but that was a small problem. My daughter-in-law, who lives in a bath-less home, enjoyed the master bathroom jacuzzi tub, as did my son who spent one day out of commission with a thrown back. Rudi and Bert were great at responding to our questions ahead of time about activities and where to stop for groceries on our way in from Las Vegas--which really added to our comfort.
All in all, this was a wonderful experience. (Our only suggestion would be to accommodate recycling efforts. We ended up taking our cans and bottles to Bryce with us because they had receptacles for recycling, but that probably wasn't fair to the Park.)
We had the time of our lives. The cabin was perfect for our family and we were so happy with the location, size, and all the comforts of home that it provided. It's practically right between Bryce and Zion's Canyons, so it was the prefect location to be able to visit both. We couldn't have been happier!
