Our renovated stone cottage sits in the historic Village of Leiper's Fork. It is located 8 miles from Historic Franklin Main Street and 35 minutes from downtown Nashville. Its situated on a knoll with large oak trees and breath taking views! It features hardwood floors, exposed beams, quaint and charming furnishings, a king size master bedroom and secondary queen bedroom. Home has large bathroom featuring carrera marble and travertine tile with seamless glass doors! Come, relax on our front porch and watch the days go by!
We both work in the airline industry and travel extensively. We moved to Tennessee because this area was one our favorite locales in all of America.
Sandy Dorris purchased this house in 2013
Finding a place in Leipers Fork was a thrill for us. Driving up and down Leipers Creek road reminds us every day how beautiful this part of Tennessee is and how well it compares to all the places we've visited around the world.
Fantastic views, cool shade from the many trees, garage parking for guest cars.
A wonderful redesign which made the stone cottage very livable for a getaway. Such a beautiful part of the country in an area that has great vibes! We would stay there again.
Cozy, cozy, cozy and wonderfully charming! Just a wonderful little getaway down the road from the main attractions in Lieper's Fork and a short drive to Franklin.
My husband and I have always talked about going to Nashville. With no plans for New Year's Eve, we decided to jump in the car and head down from Chicago after I found this adorable Stone Cottage that was available on VRBO. Within minutes of arriving in Leiper's Fork, we were already talking about how we should move there. The cottage is just a minute from all of the antique shops, restaurants and of course Puckett's Grocery. We had the trip of a lifetime. The cottage itself is very Pottery Barn meets Route 66. Everything was brand new and very well designed...from the fireplace to the gorgeous rain-head shower to the refurbished antique furniture. Loved the country music, great people, charming rural views and the community. We are so glad we didn't stay in downtown Nashville with the expensive hotels and crowds. We were able to take a drive in to the city one night. It is only a 30 minute drive. We also drove into Franklin for lunch, shopping and some amazing Civil War history. We found ourselves just wanting to get back to Puckett's for Open Mic Night and good company! A must do! Can't wait to get back!
This house was such a delight, and nicely decorated. We were there to explore the area, but the house was so welcoming it was difficult to get away! It was cold when we were there, so the gas fireplace was greatly appreciated.
The only changes I would suggest to the owner is to put a coat rack behind the door, and please put a reflecting sign at the driveway entrance, as it was difficult to find in the dark. We drove into the wrong dtiveway several times, and then had trouble backing out into the road at night.
we would definitely like to return to this property.
My husband, daughter, and I really enjoyed staying here in October. The beds were so comfortable and the bathroom was very clean and updated. Communication was great!
My family and I had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful cottage for a weekend away! Perfectly situated in the quaint town of Leiper's Fork with country scenic views! This cottage is very tastefully decorated with all new furnishings and is very well equipped to suite your needs as a home away from home! We loved our stay and will definitely be returning!!
Our stone cottage is located in the Village of Historic Leiper's Fork, minutes from world famous Puckett's Grocery, Fly South Restaurant and Joe Naturals.
