As soon as your car is sheltered in the garage, you find the cosy nest with a comfortable house and a garden kept out from noise and view as it is protected by high walls. The living spaces are on the ground floor: perfectly equipped kitchen (refrigerator-freezer, microwave oven, oven, dishwasher, cook top with extractor and all household appliances) with dining area and warm comfortable living room with flat screen TV and TNT (foreign channels). From spring, the fact that it is south facing, allows you to have your meals outside around the barbecue and to relax in the deckchairs. When days become shorter, the fireplace in the living room warms and brings together family and friends.

SCHÖNE WOCHE IN DIEPPE

Das Haus liegt in zweiter Reihe in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Haupteinkaufsstrasse und zum Strand/Badeanstalt. Die Hausherrin ist sehr freundlich und spricht sehr gut Englisch. Das Haus selbst ist sauber und sehr gut, fast romantisch eingerichtet. Der Garten ist wunderschön (mit Kiesboden und Rosen). In unserer Woche haben wir morgens und abends im Garten gegessen - einfach toll. Für unsere 2 Kinder waren die eigenen Zimmer fantastisch, auch wenn die Stufen viel an der Zahl und steil waren (wir hatten schon am Anfang ein wenig Angst, war aber alles gut). Die Betten sind sehr gut, der große Flachbildschirm war klasse, leider ohne Sat-Empfang (DVBT), d.h. ohne deutsches Programm (ARTE in deutsch war mal eine gute Abwechslung) - ausreichend DVDs mitnehmen! Wir haben schöne Ausflüge nach Rouen und Etretat gemacht. Wir würden dieses Haus immer wieder buchen, wenn Nordfrankreich ansteht! M&M, Max (5) und Mia (2)

EXCELLENT PROPERTY: COMFORTABLE AND WELL-STOCKED.

We like Dieppe, and found the location ideal, on the way to Fecamp etc. Claire was highly personable and friendly. We found the kitchen to be ideal too. We perhaps could, however, have done with a small dustpan and brush. Two toilets inside would have been better. We loved the garden, although less rain would have been appreciated! The heating system is excellent. we were delighted to have constant hot water at a cheap price. The place was clean and tidy, and is in a good state of repair.
We hired a car, and we were very grateful to have a garage.."Merci bien!"
The description of the property was exactly as described.
We would certainly recommend Huis Clos to our friends.
Dieppe offers a wonderful selection of restaurants in the harbour area. We tried several: "L'Ocean" etc. There is lots to do, and we particularly enjoyed our Chateau visit, as recommended by the owner, Claire. We liked the Saturday market, and the friendly stall holders. The Dieppois are very friendly and helpful. My only criticism was at the amound of dog "dirt" in the streets. It litters the road to the gite!
Overall, we were very pleased with the gite, and you warm hospitality. Merci mille fois, madame. x x x

I am sorry that you did'nt found the yellow dustpan with its brush in the wash-house under the sink : they will be always there for your next stay !

It is right that if we had the place , two toilets Inside the house would be perfect, but toilets outside in the garden are very enjoyed by families.

Pour les plus:
-Madame la propriétaire est très aimable, fort serviable et très arrangeante. Je vous remercie encore pour le trajet gare/maison assuré par vos soins ainsi que tous les "bons tuyaux"
-Il existe un fond de roulement permanent dans les placards ce qui n'oblige pas à arriver avec TOUT (sel, huile, papier toilette....)
-Propriété très agréable à la belle saison
- Le garage est un très bon point.

Pour les moins:
- Je ne la recommanderai pas pour des cours séjours en hiver à cause d'un chauffage électrique encore trop peu performant (dont le prix est en plus) et ainsi qu'une réserve de bois trop limitée.(tout du moins à mon gout).
Et ce bien que nous ne soyons pas frileux.
-Quelques fuites d'eau sans gravité sont à revoir (toilettes, buanderie)

Owner's Response: Pour un séjour de 5 jours et une maison de 85 m², ce groupe d'amis à consommé 12, 79 € d'électricité, et brûlé une quinzaine de bûches mises gracieusement à leur disposition et transportées par mes soins ( en 3 voyages depuis le coffre de ma voiture ). J'en déduis donc, que supposant le chauffage coûteux, ils n'ont pas utilisés les radiateurs électriques nouvelle génération autant qu'ils auraient dus et préférés le bois qui était gratuit.

En ce qui concerne les problèmes d'eau " sans gravité ", ceux-ci ont été réglés dès que la maison a été accessible à mon fidèle plombier : cela lui a pris 15 mn, mais nous ne souhaitions pas importuner nos vacanciers par son intervention .

UNE AGRÉABLE SEMAINE

Nous avons apprécié cette location, la maison était très bien pour nous cinq, avec tout le confort, le plus pour le jardin et le garage. Nous avons bien aimé la proximité du centre ville ainsi que de la plage, pour les enfants le trajet se faisait à pied, ils étaient enchantés. Nous recommandons cette location à nos proches.

Converted and discretely decorated, we have thought about everything so that everyone feels like at home in this house. Once the garden door is closed, you are miles away...You can leave your luggage, jackets, coats in the converted cloakroom. It is here also where you can use the iron and the iron board. High chair, armchair and cot are at your disposal according to your needs. Barbecue, wood for the fireplace, washing machine, cleaning products, etc...are in the adjoining storeroom. Once you are in the garden, a table and 6 chairs, a bench and deckchairs in exotic wood are waiting for you. An outdoor lighting enables you to have dinner outdoors and an umbrella protects you during breakfast. The garden is always full of flowers and will allow you to make bunches of flowers for the inside.
