Overlooking the eastern branch of Keuka Lake, my chalet on Bluff Point is minutes from Keuka College and Norton Chapel, the Garrett Chapel, Keuka Lake State Park, Esperanza Mansion and the many wineries of the Finger Lakes wine trails. We are on a private drive, a secluded 5 acres of land with views that celebrate sunrise, moonrise and everything in between. We offer our guest exclusive use of two decks, a gas grill, and an open fire pit. Inside accomodations offer one bedroom with a double bed, and a loft with 3 single beds; the living room also has a pullout sofa sleeper. The kitchen is galley style and there is one bathroom with a walk in shower. In addiditon there is a three-season sunroom which includes two more couches for additional sleeping arrangements. We are equipped with Direct TV (3 independantly tunable tv's) and air conditioning.
We stayed at the chalet over Valentine's/President's Day weekend. Temperatures were below zero and it snowed the first night, but we stayed warm despite the frigid temperatures. The owner was a great host and came to snowblow and shovel, which was much appreciated. The view from the house is beautiful, and the location is great. We had a wonderful stay here!
A perfect location for a weekend getaway. Our accommodation was everything we expected it to be. Clean, comfortable and located in the magnificent countryside with a view of Keuka Lake with its spectacular sunrises. We were fortunate enough to be there on a wine tour weekend, and hike the gorge trail in the State Park at Watkins Glen...a must see for every outdoor enthusiast.
Thank you to a most hospitable owner who ensured that our every need was met
The house had an amazing view and was very private. The owner was extremely helpful and checked in to make sure that we had everything that we needed. Several us are hoping to return to this rental with our families!
This was just what was needed. The view was stunning and the quiet and secluded location gave us a place to read and relax from the daily grind. The owner escorted us the property which was helpful because I am not sure if it would have been found without his help. He also provided some ideas on places to eat and wineries to visit if we chose. However, with a gas grill and full kitchen, we decided to stay in. Their were trails to walk and plenty of wildlife to see. Can't wait to visit again.
The chalet was quiet, clean and comfortable with a lovely view of the lake. We all grabbed a recliner or couch and read our books. When we needed to stretch or legs, we went for walks on the trails on the premises.
We hadn't realized how much we needed a retreat in the country and the chalet filled that need very nicely.
