Charming self-contained, ground floor, one bedroom apartment within typical provencal house. Set in the beautiful backdrop of the foothills of the Alps, this pretty property has 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, 1 WC, laundry/storage room, a fully equipped kitchenette with electric hob, oven, fridge (with small freezer compartment) and microwave. A spacious lounge/dining room with seating for up to 4 people. Television, satellite (sky), DVD/Video/CD player plus WIFI connection. In addition to this it has it's own private outdoor dining area overlooking the pool. Whether it's peace and quiet you desire, the beach or an activity holiday here is the perfect location for all.

The apartment is situated at the entrance to the village of Roquefort les Pins. 20 minutes from Nice, 30 from Cannes, 25 from Antibes, 45 from Monaco and approximately 1 hour from St Tropez or the Italian border. There are 3 restaurants within easy walking distance - one, the highly acclaimed Auberge Du Colombier. Roquefort has a supermarket, banks, boulangerie and further restaurants. With a plethora of beautiful villages to visit nearby including Le Rouret, which dates back to Roman times, medieval Valbonne with its weekly Friday market or St Paul de Vence - the artists' haven. Not forgetting Grasse the famous perfume town. With all this and the staggeringly beautiful countryside all around, you really will be spoilt for choice.

This is a great apartment (in ground floor of the family home). We had exclusive use of the patio, dining area and lovely pool and sun loungers when we stayed. Clean and modern. Had everything we needed, and the washing machine was a bonus. A great base for sight seeing in the area. You do need a car. Roquefort les Pins in 5 mins away by car with a couple of cafes/restaurants, library with free internet, small supermarket etc. A nice bakers about 15 mins walk. Valbonne is 7km away; the beach 20 mins down the hill. Very close to Nice airport but you can't hear planes. Would recommend.
