Our stay in the Highlands, NC was perfect. The house was all we needed for our getaway...clean, cozy, open floor plan and beautiful surroundings. It was very accessible to hikes and also the town, super close. It was our first time in the Highlands, we will definitely be going back and staying at this same location. We have two children and the house was perfect for us!!
Spent a long weekend with great friends and their two young children. Big open living area and kitchen perfect for all hanging out together but also plenty of privacy with the bedrooms. House was a very short drive to downtown and scenic views. There was also a nice walking trail from downtown to the neighborhood that we took rather than driving one of the days. House was very clean and well maintained. Looking forward to booking again this year!
Our family and a set of family friends spent a long weekend in this home for the July 4th weekend. The home is beautiful and a perfect location. It was clean and well furnished, could not have felt more at home. The waterfalls were just a short drive from the home and made for a great day of hiking and amazing family photos. The town is so cool and a fun place to walk through after a long day hiking in the sun, with great little shops and restaurants. The kids loved the ice cream shop as a way to finish the day up.
I would DEFINATELY recommend this home and a trip to the Highlands. We had an incredible time and will definitely be staying in this home again.
This place was awesome! They even had a Christmas tree for us. The gas fireplace was great. We would definitely stay here again. Owner is awesome! And it snowed while we were here. Beautiful!
