Secured pool of 9x4m with electric shutter, solar shower and 4 Vlaeminck; stone barbecue, 4 flat-screen TVs, 2 customised wooden arbours, one with 6m-long electric shutter (opposite the pool) so you can enjoy both shade and sun all day long (several sun umbrellas are available). 2 fully equipped kitchens (2 washing machines, 2 dishwashers, 2 ovens + 2 microwaves, 2 fridges). 2 bathrooms fitted with bathtubs with thermostatic shower attachments and heated towel rails, 3 WCs, including 1 in a bathroom, 5 bay windows. Location: Pyrenees-Orientales < Languedoc-Roussillon < France

All local shops are within 300m: a "Casino" convenience store, a pizzeria , a bakery, a Catalan wine shop with a very nice shopkeeper. A "U" supermarket in a small shopping centre is 600m away (easily reachable by bike). The local market takes place twice a week near the beach, 500m away. Easy-risers will be able to get fresh fish in the harbour of Saint-Cyprien-Plage. Fishes are caught during the night and are sold at an unbeatable price from 8.30 am (in season) by Catalan fishermen. Mackerels and fresh sardines from the Mediterranean are a delight when grilled on a barbecue.

There is one bathroom downstairs, easy to access to for a disabled person, another one upstairs, and a small shower room as well. Both pictured bathrooms have porcelain basins in integrated vanity units and large mirrors (a hairdryer and an iron are also available). Possibility to rent linen and towels for an extra 25 euros per person. IMPORTANT: To adapt to the American standard, we have converted the European bathroom information. The original information is : - Number of European bathrooms : 2 (can be with or without toilet inside) - Number of European shower rooms : 1 (can be with or without toilets inside) - Number of toilets : 3

  • All the bedrooms have tiled floor and are quite wide. They are fitted with walk-in wardrobes and recent bedding. There is 1 bed 160x190cm, 2 beds of 140x190cm and 6 beds of 90x190cm plus pillows of 50x50cm. 2 bedrooms have a view of the pool and the Pyrenees, 1 is on the garden side, the other 2 are on the sea/beach side, overlooking a small square. In this square, you can park further cars or play petanque. All the bedrooms have A/C, (3 individual and silent air-conditioning systems to cool down the whole house if desired !). This is very useful to fight against the high temperatures in the region or to take a nap in the early afternoon. 3 bedrooms have a 55cm flat-screen TV. In the small living room with A/C upstairs, there is a Z-bed at your disposal. Along with the cot of 120x60cm, it raises the number of sleeps to 15. Possibility to rent linen and towels for an extra 25 euros per person.

Notes: The lawn is taken care of and the pool is cleaned every week (in high season) by an external provider. Plants are automatically watered at night. Thus, the 80-year-old olive tree, the palm trees and bougainvilleas and any other plants can handle the strong heat during the day. 5 mountains bikes including 2 children's bikes are at your disposal. For the 2009 season, we have just built an opaque and insulating sliding bay with a 2m-wide mirror so both kitchens are communicating. This will enable you to enjoy as you like it a 85-sqm reception room with 5 sliding bays facing the pool and the garden. It proves very functional if you want to eat altogether or if you want to separate adults from children while keeping an eye on them...
