For our Theme Park enthusiasts, Orlando and all it's major attractions are within 1 1/2 hour drive.
Take a leisurely drive up A1A and visit the historical city of St. Augustine, the oldest city in the United States.
And for those days you do spend close to 'Home', there are bikes in the garage. Take a ride up the bike / pedestrian Path along A1A and enjoy the rare ocean view.

Welcome to our home. We live in New York and have always dreamed of living near the beach in a warmer climate! We realized that dream in Dec 2013. Florida has been our home away from home as we have family in Orlando and Flagler Beach and visit several times a year. While we wish we could live here year round, our jobs and family keep us in New York. We open our home to you and others to enjoy when we can not.

We fell in love with Ormond Beach early on. The close proximity to the beach and river had us sold. After 4 years of searching we found the perfect second home. The secluded back yard, the beach access right across from our block and the Halifax river at the other end of block was more than we hoped for. From walking on the beach, bonfires, biking riding along A1A or scenic John Anderson, kayaking and canoeing in the river, Daytona Beach 10 miles away south , the quaint town of Flagler 6 miles to the North...what more could we ask for!
Nice location - quiet neighborhood, walk to beach. Private backyard - nicely landscaped with flowerbeds and palm trees. Pool was well maintained but with cool January weather we were unable to enjoy the pool. Nice furniture and clean. The management was very helpful and accommodating.
The house & location were just as we wanted: near the beach in an area that was not crowded in any way, easy access to crossing, quiet neighborhood, it was large enough for comfort yet not so large that it got pricey! Clean & fairly well stocked for cooking in. The pool was clean & pleasant.

We really enjoyed our vacation at this home in a quiet neighborhood of well kept homes that had it's own heated pool and was just a block from a very quiet stretch of beach on the ocean. The pool was clean and the enclosure gave us both sunny and shaded places to be outside and there was a gas grill just outside the enclosure. The inside of this home was nice as well with a large LCD TV in the living room, the roomy, well equipped eat-in kitchen with a large table, 3 good sized bedrooms with ample closet space. The furnishing were in good shape and were very comfortable and we enjoyed having the WiFi and printer being provided for us. The only two issues we had were the limited selection of channels on the HD Cable service and a leaky outside supply line for the spigot for rinsing off sand from the beach. It was usable but the supply line cut off valve had to be closed after using so it wouldn't leak. The owner told us they would be addressing those issues. We have recommended this house to some of our friends and would not hesitate in staying here again.
We stayed at this house for 2 weeks during our recent visit to Florida. The house was great. It is very private and it is in a quiet residential area. You can hear the sound of the ocean from the backyard of the house and it is only a few steps to the beach. It was fully stocked with everything we could have needed including beach chairs, bicycles and an umbrella, very clean and beautifully furnished. The pool was fantastic and well maintained. The neighborhood felt very secure, we never even locked the doors and any of the neighbors we did see were always very friendly. The house is conveniently located in terms of shopping and most major stores are only a short ride across the bridge. We also took a few day trips to Daytona and St. Augustine which are both a relatively short distance away. We loved our stay so much that we have started to talk about another trip in the Fall. We would strongly recommend this property to any of our family or friends.
