2 miles from Stratford-upon-Avon Centre, Beautiful recently converted (to very high specification) 130 year old barns with original beams and splendid views. Each Cottage Sleeps 6 + cot. Fully fitted kitchen, freeview TV,dvd,video Broadband etc. Excellent tourist base with shops and the Shakespeare Theatre. Strictly no smokers or pets. Children very welcome.Large landscaped gardens Tourist Board graded us as 4 star.our cottages are a fantastic base for couples,Families,They are ideal for the centre of Stratford(bus stop only 50 yards from the cottage) run hourly into and from Town during week days,.The cottages have the charm to return to from a day touring the area .They are Home from Home. London is 1.5 hours drive,Oxford 45 mins,Broadway,Warwick,less than 20mins,great base for Walking/Cycling along the Greenway and onto many country Pubs for Lunch.Sit on your private patio overlooking open Fields with a glass of wine and unwind.

In beautiful Cotswold countryside yet only a couple of miles away from the historic town of Stratford-upon-Avon. Take a boat on the river, watch entertainers in the park or browse around the individual shops and boutiques in the town. There are a number of restaurants and a wealth of culture and history. Visit one of the three historic theatres in Stratford which have plays running 7 days per week. Take a look at the birth place of William Shakespeare which is in the centre of Stratford which is one of several famous historic buildings to be visited. Visit nearby Warwick Castle which is a full day out for children and adults and has events running throughout the year( open air Ice rink December) Broadway is only one of several beautiful unspoilt villages nearby. Details of other places of interest can be found in the Cottage or the local tourist office. Oxford is approx 40 miles away and London is only approx 90 mins by car. Convenient for Birmingham Airport and NEC

Set in a tranquil location close to Stratford, the cottage offers an extremely comfortable and well appointed residence situated at the gateway to the Cotswolds, offering some of the most magnificent villages in the country nearby.
Whether you are looking to get away for some quiet time or wishing to savour the culture, you will be hard pressed to find a similar location for the value that also provides your every day comforts.

lovely cottage in the cotswolds

We loved the cottage and the owner was extremely nice and accommodating. (he left Easter sweets for my kids since we arrived on Easter Sunday!) You must, however, have a car if you are hoping to get in and around Stratford.

Really a great location for a family--large home and lovely garden. Our kids befriended some neighbors for a great game of football!

We would love to return there again ... some day!

I rented this holiday home for my daughter & family. What can I say? I cannot praise the owners or say enough about the property. Their comments were 'We love it so much were going to wrap it up and take it back to Scotland with us.

Our stay at cottage No. 5 was very comfortable with every detail of what one may require to get started, thoughtfully provided. The cottage was maintained very well and was really like a home away from home.
John has been an excellent host and our heartfelt thanks to him for allowing us a complimentary extension after some mishap we faced during one our trips to London.
I would reccomend the place to anyone, anytime. Some of my friends ae already planning a holiday to Stratford soon and would like to stay at John's cotage.
