2011 we are pleased to advise the cottage has had a complete refurbishment ,2 miles from Stratford-upon-Avon Centre, Beautiful converted (to very high specification) 130 year old barns with original beams and splendid views. Each Cottage Sleeps 6 + cot. fitted kitchen, freeview TV,dvd,video Broadband etc. Excellent tourist base with shops and the Shakespeare Theatre. Strictly no smokers or pets. Children very welcome.Large landscaped gardens Tourist Board graded us as 4 star.our cottages are a fantastic base for couples,Families,They are ideal for the centre of Stratford(bus stop only 50 yards from the cottage) run hourly into and from Town during week days,.The cottages have the charm to return to from a day touring the area .They are Home from Home.

London is 1.5 hours ,Oxford 45 mins,Broadway,Warwick,less than 20mins,great base for Walking/Cycling along the Greenway and onto many country Pubs for Lunch.Sit on your private patio, open Fields with a glass of wine and unwi

In beautiful Cotswold countryside yet only a couple of miles away from the historic town of Stratford-upon-Avon. Take a boat on the river, watch entertainers in the park or browse around the individual shops and boutiques in the town. There are a number of restaurants and a wealth of culture and history. Visit one of the three historic theatres in Stratford which have plays running 7 days per week.

Take a look at the birth place of William Shakespeare which is in the centre of Stratford which is one of several famous historic buildings to be visited.

Visit nearby Warwick Castle which is a full day out for children and adults and has events running throughout the year( open air Ice rink December)

Broadway is only one of several beautiful unspoilt villages nearby. Details of other places of interest can be found in the Cottage or the local tourist office.

Oxford is approx 40 miles away and London is only approx 90 mins by car. Convenient for Birmingham Airport and NEC

Perfect Getaway with Friends

Stayed in Compton Verney Cotttage over New Year and would highly recommend the cottage to anyone. The customer service from John the owner was excellent and the cottage is beautifully maintained and very tastefully decorated. The beds are lovely and comfortable, it was wonderfully warm and it really felt like home from home. A visit to nearby Broadway is a must - lovely individual shops and very picturesque as well as good walks. Was very sad to leave at the end of our stay - a lovely restful New Year escape!

Love these cottages

My family and I have stayed in both cottages owned by John, we love them both and John offers fantastic friendly service, he is very helpful and accommodating. The cottages are cozy and fully equipt which suits the needs of our family very well.

Love these Cottages, home from home!

My family and I have stayed in both cottages owned by this owner and have had a great time in both places. The cottages are homely, warm and comfortable, and dealing with the owner certainly gives me more peace of mind. Both cottages are very clean and with two children under 4 the large shared garden has been a huge bonus for us and the neighbours have loved having children around which is a real plus. Can't say enough for the place and this will be our fourth year using these cottages when traveling in from overseas to visit family and friends. Thanks John!

COMPTON VERNEY COTTAGE

My parents and me have had a really good time in this lovely cottage. The location is perfect to relax and visit all the midlands. John and his family are also very kind. I hope one day I could come back to this place.

Perfect little cottage in an Ideal location

This is our second trip to this ideal little cottage and it is just right for touring round the Cotswolds and Stratford-upon-Avon. It was clean and well appointed and it was ideal for the three of us.

The owner was very easy to deal with and he went out of his way to make us feel comfortable knowing we would be arriving very late in the evening. I plan on staying here again and I absolutely recommend this property to anyone thinking of a holiday in this area.
