Rural location close to Normandy beaches. :

The region is home to some of the best beaches in North West France. Each accommodation includes guide books and information on sites of interest and activities in the region, including bicycle and walking tours, visits to the D-Day beaches, castles, museums, abbeys and chateaux, and other sites of historical interest such as Bayeaux (the Tapestry museum) and Mont St. Michel. Information on guided tours by local operators on request. The gardens at La Clergerie won first prize for 2007 and 2008 in a competition organised in this locality by the Tourist Board.
Combined holidays:
If visiting France from outside Europe, why not combine a stay in Paris with a stay at La Clergerie - soaking up the best of French rural life, its cuisine, culture and setting. If touring Europe, La Clergerie makes an ideal stopping off point to relax and take breath between the cultural delights of Paris and a visit to Britain, with good access to one of the nearby ferry terminals or airports.
Four Star Plus for our accommodation.:
Recent reviews by guests staying at La Clergerie averaged more than four stars in a voluntary international review, marking the standard of our facilities, hospitality and environment. We emphasize this in a non-smoking establishment and a full set of the terms and conditions of your rental is given to you on arrival.
At La Clergerie we support the principles of green tourism and recycle everything we can. We water the gardens using natural spring water when possible and do not use pesticides. Our expensive fosse system, which is operated under license from the local authority, ensures that only clean water enters the natural environment. Our prize winning gardens are managed organically and we strive to minimize our carbon footprint.
Each year we receive a number of hand written personal letters, cards and e-mails from our guests commending what we do and copies of these are available on request, together with independent evaluationsof our standards.

There are a number of golf courses to suit all standards of players within a short drive of La Clergerie, including a number of open tournaments.
