About Peter Scharer
We love to travel to exotic locations and enjoy fabulous food. Avid winos! We love Laguna and have travelled the world and yes, we keep coming back. Hubby grew up on the East Coast, the Mrs. in the midwest. Laguna is our place to relax and slow down.
Peter Scharer purchased this cottage in 1998
Why Peter Scharer chose Laguna Beach
When we bought this house it was basically a tear down that we couldn't bring ourselves to do. Hence the 16 year journey of a love-hate relationship with older home remodeling. (Now it's mostly love!) We love the views here. Day or night they can't be beat. You might even see whales or a pod of dolphins as you're gazing out!
In the 70's the house was featured in Sunset magazine. In the 40's a famous artist of the 'nudes' lived here. We love the history and charm of our home.
What makes this cottage unique
We fell in love with the views, the peace, and the sunsets. Our road is a small cul-de-sac which is very private. We can walk to the beach or into town for brunch.
