Our apartment is situated in an exclusive private complex, located 300m from a beautiful quiet 15km sandy beach awarded the coveted blue flag for cleanliness and safety year on year. Portico Mar has its own porter and night security guard making it extremely safe. Our first floor apartment is set in a lush garden landscape the perfect hideaway. In the gardens are 3 large adjoining pools excellent for all ages, with a life guard on duty from June to September. The apartment is furnished to a high standard throughout and fully air conditioned (providing heat in winter). Our extensive equipped open plan kitchen comes with all modern appliances. Adjoining the kitchen is a large comfortable family lounge, leading to a south facing terrace with sea views and dinning for 4 people. With a local restaurant serving excellent and international cuisine and the beach a stroll away, Portico Mar is the perfect place to get away and relax.

Guardamar is a 30 minute drive south of Alicante, this typical Spanish town has lots to offer. With its array of shops , bars, and a wide variety of restaurants. There is an excellent promenade featuring cafes and bars serving local food and wines. On a Wednesday morning the local farmers market is abundant with lots of goodies! Guardamars beautiful beach offers something for everyone with various entry points giving the option of busy or quiet secluded areas. Visit the local sand dunes or the attractive Reina Sofia Park where the pine groves have been enhanced with lakes, ponds and wildlife. .

There are 5 championship golf courses near by. If you require a round just let us know in advance. Discount rates can be negotiated with clubs and transportation. Nearby 'Habaneras' offers excellent shopping for all with Mango, Zara, H&M, Massimo dutti. Why not spoil yourself at the 4* Hotel Laguna which offers fabulous Spa treatments and pamper days well worth a visit.

We had a great time in this lovely apartment. It is clean and well-equipped, plenty of space for our family of four. The balcony is large and private. The pool area is beautiful, well-maintained and clean. Beach and restaurants within walking distance. Highly recommended,

Another wonderful holiday

This was our second stay at this wonderful apartment. The apartment was well equipped and beautifully clean. The girls really loved the swimming pools and it is only a short walk to the beach. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anybody.

We returned to Papa's restaurant in Guardamar, which is still excellent value and also enjoyed the menu del dia at the amazing fish restaurant called Jamie's right on the side of the beach down near where the night market is.

We had a very pleasant stay in this apartment - it is furnished and equipped to a high standard and very clean. The balcony is very roomy with nice table and chairs, and the swimming pools and gardens are lovely. There are visitors and residents of many different nationalities (rather than a 'little Britain') which gives the place a cosmopolitan and friendly atmosphere. Guardamar is good to explore, lovely seas and a couple of great beach bars on the Moncayo beach just a short walk from the apartment.

We are happy to recommend this apartment, it was well cleaned and spacious. We traveled with our two children (5 and 9 years) and three pools kept them busy during the days. Since we were there so early in the season it was sparse with people at the pool area which was nice. It was also a not-too-long walk to the beautiful beach. We rented a car and often drove to Guardamar in the evenings and there were many nice restaurants to choose from.

Fantastic Holiday Apartment

We have just returned from a fantastic 2 week stay at this apartment, which we can highly recommend and would like to stay there again soon. It is an excellent apartment, which is very well equipped and clean. It has a nice terrace with table and chairs for outside dining. We all enjoyed the 3 swimming pools, which are kept very clean and with a lifeguard during the summer months.

The beach is close by and we often enjoyed an early morning walk into to Guardamar, for morning coffee at one of the many beach café’s.

The beach is beautiful and spent many hours down there, we even went to the ‘be chill out’ bar in the evening with it’s ambient candles and lanterns.

We did most of our grocery shopping in Guardamar at either the Mercadonna or there is a small Carrefour express on the outskirts of Guardamar. On Wednesday morning there is an amazing street market in Guardamar with fresh fruit and vegetables. Just watch out for your ankles as all the locals charge around with their trollies!

We really enjoyed the Tapas menu to share at Papa’s in Guardamar, 7 dishes, bottle of wine and coffee for 25 euro’s. I would advise you to go early; otherwise you will be queuing down the street!

Recommend for all ages.
