It is centrally located for the whole of the Norflok Broads National Park where you can enjoy boating, fishing, glorious scenery, walking the Wherryman's nature trail runs near by. Only 5 minutes walk from the Chalet is the Fisherman pub and restaurant with riverside seating, footpaths meander along the river Waveny. The historic cathedral city of Norwich is only 40 minutes drive it has an interesting castle, alley-ways, museums, restaurants, and shops to explore

The Chalet: Built in 2004 the Chalet is of mainly brick and tile construction with lagging to walls and loft, It is well suited for all year holidays

On the site: Waveny Holiday Park;- Kingfisher bar with dancing and meals at weekends, shop, laundrette. Fisherman pub serving food ( 5min walk )

Burgh Castle: In the village:- there are two pubs serving food, a Chinese and fish n Chip take-away, and a post office/general store
