Large open plan sitting and dining room equipped with flat screen satellite TV, music system and DVD. Well appointed kitchen, cloakroom, master bedroom with en-suite marble bathroom and balcony, 2 further double bedrooms and bathroom, further sitting room with views of the bay. Situated in Marina del Este, with its own beach and marina, and 5 min from La Herradura, a lively seaside town with numerous beach bars, restaurants serving specialities of the region including fresh fish and paella, shops and local market. The bay enjoys shelter from the west winds creating crystal clear waters and is a popular location for water sports and paragliding. The lively coastal town of Nerja is 10 min away, also close by are the Nerja caves. The picturesque mountain village of Frigiliana is within 20 min drive. The Marina is easily accessible from Malaga and Granada Airports, both are 1 h drive away. Granada, The Alhambra and the Sierra Nevada mountains (skiing, mountain biking and walking) are all within 90 min drive. There are many golf courses in the area. The Marina has its own local secluded beach with sheltered water and beach bar and restaurant.

The property was immaculately clean and well appointed.
superb out door terraces with amazing views, especially from the roof terrace.
The area is very quiet and relaxing. A car is essential.
The surrounding area is fantastic.
I would happily recommend this to anyone who wants a relaxing break.
The weather in October was absolutley superb and the front terrace enabled the breakfast sun to be enjoyed to the max!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children

Just returned from a great holiday in this lovely sun filled, comfortable and well equipped home.
Wonderful coastal views from the top terrace. The large main terrace has loungers and dining table perfect for al fresco meals. If the sun gets too hot there is a delightful shaded courtyard at the rear.
The decor thoughout is in neutral, restful tones. The two double beds and two single beds gave us the best nights rest we have ever had in a holiday let. We can't wait to go again.

We stayed here in Nov 2011 and again in April 2012, and would like to return as soon as possible! Quiet location, 25 min walk to la Herradura town centre and 10 mins to the local marina and beach. Fantastic views, plenty of room, 2 terraces (sun and shade), well equipped, comfortable outside furniture with 6 sun beds. The house is luxurious!

Relaxing home from home holiday

Going away on holiday with three grown up children could have been a recipe for disaster but the location and facilities offered in this villa meant we had a fantastic family break. There is plenty of space to keep out of each other's hair and the proximity of the marina and beach allowed us to do our own thing without the need for two cars. The kitchen is well equipped for proper cooking if, like us, you want to buy local produce and prepare lovely seafood bbq lunches. We had a very relaxing holiday.
