In an elevated position with spectacular views, this Villa was refurbished and extended in 2004/2005. The result is a large, quiet and stylish Villa that is also within 300m of a small supermarket, restaurants, beach bar (with rocky cove for swimming) and a bank (with ATM). A little further, and within walking distance, are two sandy beaches and the fishing port village of Moraira. In the morning, the sun rises over the hills above El Portet - which can be seen from the upstairs bedroom (the ‘tower room’), the pool terrace, the upper terrace and the ‘Naya’ (the glass enclosed covered terrace). During the day the sun moves around the pool terrace (which is perfect for private sunbathing), although areas of shade under the palm trees or in the Naya can be found for those who seek it. Later in the day you can enjoy watching the sun set from the west-facing barbeque area in the garden which is planted with bougainvillaea and young fruit trees (lemon, olive, pomegranate, orange, etc).

  • Optional extras include: pool heating (275 Euros per week) - available May/June and September only; additional cleaning (priced on request), cot,/high chair (Euros 35 each per week), air conditioning/heating in all 5 bedrooms (197 Euros per week); wireless Internet access (45 Euros/week).

Airports: To reach Moraira, you can fly either to Valencia or Alicante, both of which have scheduled flights from major cities in Europe. In addition, Alicante has multiple connections to other cities via charter airlines. The villa is about one hour's drive from Alicante airport and one hour twenty minutes' drive from Valencia. Alternatively, the villa is about four hours' drive from Barcelona airport.

Walking distance from the villa: One of the aspects our guests particularly enjoy is the location of the villa. It is only a few minutes' walk from a charming seaside bar with great views, from where you can also swim in the sea or snorkel. There are many restaurants within walking distance. The villa is slightly up a hill which means that there are outstanding views of the coastline and the sea from the pool terrace.

Mountain walking and golf: From October to May (before the weather is too hot for walking), there are many beautiful walks in the local mountain range. You may prefer to walk on your own or you can join the local Costa Blanca walking group, whose twice-weekly programme is printed in the Costa Blanca News. Proper walking shoes (not trainers) are vital. There are also five golf courses within a one hour drive, the nearest of which is only 2km from the villa.
