The sunny side of the island with a wonderful no bank waterfront beach perfect for miles of beachcombing, sunbathing, or watching sunsets. Great place to bike for miles; flat terrain and scenic views. Hot tub on the patio.
This house was completed gutted and remodeled in 1999. Featuring a huge island kitchen. Granite countertops, 2 propane fireplaces and 1 wood fireplace. Relax around the outdoor fire pit on the patio or enjoy a bon fire on the beach. Plenty of dry, seasoned wood supplied for your use.
The house has two bedrooms each with a queen size bed. There is also the garage room which has a glass garage door with a couch that makes into a comfy hide-a-bed. The living room couch has a nice hide-a-bed as well.
There is one bathroom with a toilet, tub/shower, and pedestal sink. Attached, is another bathroom counter with a sink and mirrors so while one is showering another can be getting ready for the day.
Crystal Springs is a highly desirable area. Bicyclist, walkers, runners - all enjoy the miles of flat terrain and the spectacular views of the Puget Sound. Having a full western exposure gives you warmth of the afternoon sun and extended daylight hours. The front yard has some trees to give shade to those who do not wish to have direct sun. Enjoy the evening sunsets sitting in the hot tub sipping a glass of wine or sit by the fire pit looking out over the Puget Sound.
The house is pet-friendly having all natural limestone floors.
There are 2 single kayaks and an aluminum row boat you can use at your own risk. If you have a boat or some friends that do there is a buoy out front to tie up to. If fishing is your game, you are ½ mile from Point White dock.
There are miles of beach front to walk. Lynwood center is 2 ½ miles via the scenic route or 2 miles if you want to drive up and over the hill. There you can browse the shops, get a bite to eat, enjoy a drink or a cup of coffee, or take in a film at the historic Lynwood Theater.

Don is a native of Seattle and owner of a Marine Services company. He built his sailboat, a Westsail 32 which he lived on and off for 14 years raising 2 kids and sailed to Mexico and Alaska.
Lois moved to Seattle when she was 11. Remembering the family vacations at their beach house on Whidbey Island prompted her to move to Bainbridge Island in 1997, leaving the bustling suburbs of Seattle behind.
We have two spoiled little girls, Tootsie and Lolli, our little cocker spaniels that demand lots of attention from their parents. Wanting to share our experiences with our doggie girls is important to us which is why we welcome pets into our home. We hope you will enjoy our home as much as we do.

Enjoy the energy of our home. Feel the flow of the house where the outside is readily accessible; there are no barriers or feeling of isolation from the natural surroundings. The house is incredibly grounded giving you a renewed and energized spirit.
We enjoyed our stay very much at this wonderful home. It was well equipped with everything you could possibly need during your stay. The location was just across the street from the beach. We enjoyed very much walking the beach looking for sea glass and even had our afternoon cocktail sitting on the beach in the beach chairs.
All in all this home is awesome.......we very much enjoyed our Bainbridge adventure!!!!

We arranged a family trip to Seattle to enjoy the fall weather and see the city. We picked this home on Bainbridge Island and we are extremely happy we did. The home is lovely. The view of the water is so very relaxing and is seen from the kitchen, front room and garage conversion bedroom (The pre teen kids LOVED this well done garage room and now want us to convert our garage to a room like this). The kitchen is generous if you enjoy cooking, you will be pleased. There is lovely decor and art throughout the home. The beds were comfortable & rooms quiet. The on site laundry was very convenient. The homeowners kindly had a high chair and pack and play there for us to use. The location is quiet and serene, many walkers and bicycle riders in front of the home on the road. We enjoyed family walks to the nearby pier. The front port has a relaxing hot tub. We sat in the front yard in the chairs and read for hours. The private beach area was pretty amazing for the kids to dip their feet, toss rocks and find shells and tiny crabs and use their imagination for countless hours, while we sat and relaxed enjoy the views. Beautiful sunsets! We enjoyed a beach fire in the fire pit area and cooked smores and relaxed. The tide brings the water close in the evening. Jellyfish washed up to shore and were a big hit. Bainbridge Island is beautiful with so, so much greenery. We ferried ourselves (left the car at the ferry station) over to Seattle to explore the tourist areas by foot and used the monorail, easy to do from the ferry station if you can handle some steep hills and fair amount of walking. We enjoyed Seattle but looked forward to returning to Bainbridge for the relaxation. The owner and property manager were helpful and responsive. We placed the few fragile items/books out of reach of the kids upon arrival. I would recommend this property and we hope to return someday!
This is an excellent property with stunning views of the water and easy beach access. The owners are very kind and accomodating. We had a slight problem with a leaky faucet, and they sent over someone to fix it the same day. I would definitely recommend this property and will stay here again.
You couldn't ask for a more beautiful setting or well equipped home. Lois and Don went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect. Comfortable beds, fluffy towels and a kitchen that is very well stocked. Great recommendations from Don regarding restaurants and things to see as well. Relaxing in the jacuzzi watching the sunsets was so peaceful. Our kids had a blast with the kayaks! I was nervous about having only 1 bathroom as we were a party of 6 but with the dressing/sink area in addition it was not a problem. I would definitely come back and enjoy this great home!
Stroll down to Lynwood Center just 2.5 miles if you go the long way by the shoreline or 2 miles driving over Baker hill. Enjoy cruising the shops or getting a bite to eat at one of the cafes. The Beach House restaurant has a fabulous view of Rich Passage. On Sundays we have the Lynwood market, a non-profit corporation with the stated goal of building a children's playground in the Lynwood area in conjunction with the Parks and Recreation Department and their Foundation.
Saturday's at the Bainbridge Farmers Market, more than 40 vendors offer fresh, local produce, flowers and plants, specialty foods, beautiful crafts and much, much more. Shop, eat, listen to great music, and enjoy one of Bainbridge Island’s grandest traditions.
The 9-hole 'Meadowmeer' course at the Meadowmeer Golf & Country Club facility provides plenty of fun and challenge! Lots of personality on every hole as this well-maintained course is always in great playing shape. We feature 2,824 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 35. Most golfers play 18 holes as the 18 hole set up is designed to be played from different tee boxes on the back nine.
The Bloedel Reserve on Bainbridge Island is an internationally renowned public garden and forest preserve. The founder’s vision was “to provide refreshment and tranquility in the presence of natural beauty,” and the Reserve’s mission is to “enrich people’s lives through a premier public garden of natural and designed Pacific Northwest landscapes.” The Reserve’s 150 acres are a unique blend of natural woodlands and beautifully landscaped gardens, including a Japanese Garden, a Moss Garden, a Reflection Pool and the Bloedels’ former estate home.
With 4 tasting rooms an easy walk from the Seattle ferry (scroll down for details), there’s almost always a place to taste wine on Bainbridge. And, several of the wineries are open on weekends during the summer or by appointment. You can even rent bikes at the ferry terminal to get around. But best of all, all 7 wineries are open for tasting and tours on select weekends throughout the year.

During the week you can hail the ferry commuter bus right out in front of the house. Stepping off the ferry in Seattle you find yourself at the Seattle Waterfront; one of Seattle’s most unforgettable neighborhoods with spectacular views of Elliott Bay. Visitors can enjoy fresh Pacific Northwest seafood, eclectic souvenir and curio shops, scenic ferry rides, or a visit to the Seattle Aquarium. Or, take a walk along the piers and simply enjoy the view.
