There is an excellent dive shop within walking distance of this condo - you can see if the boats are going out or not that day.

Could it get any better than this?

Beautiful ocean view. Reading a book in the hammock on the deck. Quiet beach and pool. Great snorkeling right out your back door. Dive shop just minutes away. Spacious condo (plenty of room for two couples or a large family). Kitchen for dining in or great restaurants are just around the corner (don't miss 2 for 1 margs at Lo Ha's happy hour!). We will be back!

Loved our Spring Break stay at Hacienda de la Tortuga!

Our Spring Break vacation was a blast! The awesome condo was a really beautiful place to call “home” for a week. The view of Halfmoon Bay from the balcony is absolutely breathtaking. We could even occasionally see turtles swimming in the bay from there.

It was a blast to stay in complex so surrounded by Mexican culture and design. Our daughter thought the pool was great and there are plenty of terrific restaurants within walking distance of the condo. And Cancun, Playa Del Carmen, and Tulum are not far away.

I especially loved the exotically tiled showers in each bathroom which added to the Mexican flavor of the décor. The large dining table and bar area provided lots of space for eating and playing games. We can't wait to return again soon!

A place to relax

We had a fantastic time in this wonderful condo. Very clean w/ fully equipped kitchen. Amazing snorkeling in the bay - you can see the turtles from your balcony on a clear day. The village of Akumal has great restaurants and bars, but avoids the tourist overload that spoils so much of the Mayan Riviera. Check out the rest of the village across the highway for authentic local restaurants that charge Mexican prices, not American tourist prices. Highly recommended!
