Where shall I begin?

My first impression upon entering this condo was disappoinment. Upon further inspection, I really wanted to leave and go elsewhere but since it was midnight and we were travel weary, we decided to make do - not really the frame of mind you want to start your vacation with!
Cons: 1. The balcony overlooks the parking area for public access to the beach, the condo neet door and the garbage bin for the Surf Song Condo complex. To see the beach, you need to sit sideways on the balcony and then you are peering directly onto the neighbours balcony - no privacy at all!
2. The bathroom is need of a face lift. The bath tub is badly damaged and has been poorly repaired - I doubt you would want to have a bath as it might leak!
3. The kitchen has had new cupboard doors but the interior of the cupboards are still dark and well worn. The appliances work but are old and rusty in some places. You will be hard pressed to set a nice table as the cutlery is mismatched, there is only one wine glass and no placemats.
4. The bed is a skimpy queen, I would quess approx. 56 inches wide instead of the expected 60. It is comfortable enough however.
5. The blinds are missing a few slats, they work OK, but be gentle as some of the slats fall off easily. You will want to keep them closed at night for privacy!
Pros: 1. The beach is only a short walk away - down the stairs and pass the pool. It is a beautiful beach and the water is warm.
2. The pool is warm and lovely to swim in, but there are no chairs inside the pool area.
3. The condo appears clean, although the tile grout is dark - perhaps it is suppose to be.
4. There is a large T.V. in the condo and internet service.
In closing, I cannot recommend this condo, as I think you can do better for the money.

The unit is in nice condition, priced accordingly. We do not profess this unit to be a beach front and the photo is taken from the actual balcony.
The beds are regulation size twin and queen. Beach towels are not provided or promised. We have an on site office to address any concerns, but we were never notified that this guest was unhappy. We have 76 units under management and we will do what it takes to make our customers happy - however we were not made aware of any issues. Search the internet for Surf Song and you will see this is the best managed complex on the beach
