RATES END JUNE/EARLY JULY.!! Situated on the 2nd floor of Villa Montebello, this modern, spacious apartment is perfect for any stay in Cannes.Suitable for Congress. It is centrally and conveniently located, just a few streets back inland from the JW Marriott Hotel, on Boulevard de la Republique. The Palais des Festivals et des Congres is only approx 8 minutes walk away. It is 5 minutes walk to the beaches and restaurants. Boulevard de La Croisette, the famous seafront promenade and Rue D'Antibes, the main shopping street are just minutes away. There is a lift, and secure parking available in an underground garage. The 65sq m apartment contains a fully fitted kitchen including a dishwasher, ceramic hob, microwave oven, fridge and washing machine. The apartment can sleep up to six people very comfortably. The sunny south-west facing balcony of 21 sq m can be accessed from all the rooms. The apartment has central heating for cooler weather. It is ideal for individuals on business, or for couples or families on vacation.

CLEANLINESS: One important area for us is that anywhere we stay is spotlessly clean.

Our apartment is thoroughly cleaned before each party of guests arrive. In winter the heat is switched on. Beds are dressed with fresh linen and clean towels are provided for each guest. You just need to bring your own beach towels. On departure the apartment is cleaned once again so you do not need to spend your holiday time cleaning and polishing!

BEACH TOWELS: While we provide towels, you need to remember to bring your own beach towels.

I am Irish and live in Dublin. I bought this apt in 2005 and chose it because of its wonderful location in the centre of Cannes - a few minutes from everything.

One thing that I love is the wonderful boulagerie just across the road and those delicious croissants, salads etc. I also love to sit on the balcony on a summer eve sipping a glass of pastis or a glass or rose!

The central location is the big attraction to this apt. - beside everything - the sea, the boutiques, the markets, supermarkets etc.I

LOCATION WITH THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS

This is a well equipped apartment in a great location. We arrived by air into Nice airport and took the Cote D'Azur Express to Cannes. The ticket office is immediately outside Terminal 1 and the bus for Cannes leaves every half an hour and the journey takes about 40 mins. Getting off the bus at Place Vauban on boulevard Carnot, Villa Montebello was only a 10 minute walk away.
The apartment is in a quiet residential area with plenty of local shops (and a super boulangerie right across the road for delicious fresh breakfast croissants). On a previous visit to Cannes when staying near the Croisette, it was difficult to find local supermarkets so it was nice to have the option of some self catering even though there is an endless choice of places to eat out.
Everything we needed was available in the apartment as listed. Having the washing machine was great for washing / rinsing clothes as we had travelled light. The apartment is clean and comfortable, there is air conditioning and a really generous balcony.
All the key attractions are within walking distance - the Croisette and beaches, Palais de Congress, Rue D'Antibes (shopping) etc. Another bonus is that the train station is only a 5 minute walk away giving easy access to Nice, Antibes, Villefranche, Eze, Monaco and even Italy!
We would have no problem recommending this apartment to other family or friends.

LOCATION, LOCATION, - HOME COMFORTS IN THE MED!

This is the perfect apartment for any break - whether a long weekend, a business trip, or a good holiday in the south of France. The location is very good - although the apartment block fronts a busy road, this apartment is at the back of the building and therefore quiet. There's a handy boulangerie right opposite the building with excellent breads, pizzas and cakes, and supermarkets are also close by. The rue d'Antibes is a mere five minutes walk from the apartment, and the Croisette area about seven to eight minutes.
The apartment is functional and pretty, with absolutely every possible practical detail considered, if one had to attend to washing, ironing, hair-drying and so on. It is furnished for south of France warm-weather living, pale tiled floors throughout, leather and wooden furnishing, plenty of crockery, glasses, and all dining and entertaining necessities. In fact, the living-room and balcony combined would make for a great party area! The apartment includes tv, wi-fi and so on, and a generous selection of books and dvds. There is air-conditioning but also central heating should that be required. The living room is spacious and gives onto a generous balcony which overlooks a small garden and palm-tree, and a small bougainvillea plant is making its presence felt on the balcony railings, so that contact with nature and with something growing was something that appealed to me. The main bedroom is medium-sized but perfectly outfitted, while the other bedroom is small, with two single beds, very pretty in cool tones of blues and greens against a backdrop of white wall. The beds are extremely comfortable, by the way, and there is loads of storage space throughout the apartment. It is, incidentally, a very safe building to be in, and security is excellent. I could not recommend it highly enough whether for a holiday or a business trip.

BEL APPARTEMENT, TRÈS BIEN PLACÉ.

Appartement lumineux, confortable ( 2 belles chambres ,un vaste séjour , toilettes séparées, salle de bain assez grande), avec une longue terrasse fonctionnelle.
A 5 min de tout.
Boulevard à traverser, ensuite rue d'Antibes, croisette, restaurants...( le bonheur )
Accueil exceptionnel fait par Trish ( patricia ), un rayon de soleil texan qui nous a reçu avec enthousiasme, gentillesse et disponibilité.( une belle rencontre )
Le seul bémol, la place de parking en sous sol,difficile d'accès mais bon j'avais un 807..( par chance peu de monde: j'ai pu prendre une autre place )
Bref: je recommande cet appartement pour une vraie découverte à pieds de cannes.

The apartment is very well situated in the centre of Cannes. While there is car parking, you don't really need a car - you can walk to everything you want in minutes! Shopping on Rue D'Antibes (3 min), supermarkets (3 min), restaurants (4 min), beaches (6 min), the Palais (9 min), La Croisette (6 min), train station (5 min), bus stops at Hotel de Ville (9 min), marketplace Gambetta (4 min), marketplace Forville (8 min). There is a wonderful boulangerie (bakery) almost immediately across the street from Villa Montebello which makes the trip out each morning, for your baguette or croissants, very easy.
