Welcome to La Blue, a charming petit Château set in an elevated position on its own partly-wooded 6 acres of land, with spectacular views overlooking picturesque Lot et Garonne and Dordogne countryside. It is surrounded by fig, cherry and walnut trees - you can pick the fruit fresh for breakfast! La Blue is within walking or cycling distance of a popular and lively medieval Bastide village with plenty of quaint shops. There are street cafes and a variety of good restaurants ranging from takeaways to top French cuisine. There is a traditional weekly market in the square and a lively night market from June to September. The Château can accommodate 12 to 14 people very comfortably. Totally equipped for your convenience it comprises six very spacious bedrooms. All the rooms have superb far-reaching views overlooking the surrounding countryside; they are light and airy and decorated to a high standard. the August edition of period living has a feature on lablunie.

The chateau is a haven of tranquillity in the middle of this beautiful part of south-west France. To reach us from Bergerac airport (a drive of twenty minutes) you will pass some of the most breathtaking unmistakeably French countryside - vines, prune orchards, chateaux, sunflowers and maize fields. The fortified medieval bastide. Villages of Eymet, Monpazier, Monflanquin, Issegeac, etc are all within easy reach as are the famous Dordogne attractions of the Lascoux prehistoric caves. Domme Beynac, Salat and Roque Gageac - where cave dwellings and canoeing trips on the river are a feature. To the west lies St Emilion world famous for its exquisite wines and the local tour of the wine tasting chateaux is not to be missed.

Totally equipped for your convenience it comprises six very spacious bedrooms .One bedroom has twin beds, the very large bedroom has a double and one single, ideal for youngsters. The remainder have doubles.There is a large family bathroom, a downstairs cloakroom with toilet and hand basin. Bedroom 1 has an integral shower, bedroom 2 a wash-hand basin, Bedroom 6 is en suite. There is also a separate toilet with hand basin on the first floor.
