Villa Miradouro is located in Faja da Ovelha-Calheta south west coast of the Island, an area blessed with stunning unspoilt countryside, bird wild life (binoculars recommended) and quaint villages “Paul and Jardim do Mar”, it is a mere 15 minutes drive from the seaside resort of Calheta. The Villa is south facing with excellent exposure to the sunshine, offering spectacular panoramic views of a lighthouse, countryside, coastline and incredible sunset views. Guaranteed absolute tranquillity and relaxation. Completely renovated in 2004 in modern style with rustic features, tastefully furnished to a high standard. The Villa benefits from a swimming pool 10 x 5 metres with a heated shower, built-in BBQ with a large patio lit up for open-air dining. With an open-plan layout, the villa is spacious and offers maximum natural light, it also offers a furnished veranda and breakfast room both overlooking the sea.
Additional Services: An appointed representative will meet and greet you on arrival to familiarise with the villa and surrounding area, she will be available should you encounter any difficulties.

Dining room has a log fire for the winter season and additional oil filled radiators throughout.
There is also a window seating area in the dining room looking out onto the entrance garden.
By the pool side there is a heated shower. Outside of the barbecue there is a large lit patio with dining area for eight. The villa is fitted with an alarm system and electric remote control gates. The garden area consists of over 1400sqm and is illuminated throughout. Although the property consists of two floors, only the first floor is available for rental as the the ground floor is being used for storage.

The villa stands at 50 minutes drive from the airport using express roads and finally through villages with sea view. Express roads with tunnels through mountains and bridges altogether with the recent construction of several new marinas along the coast has increased the popularity of the west side of the island. There are some popular restaurants / bars, mini market and a Bank with ATM nearby with a wider choice in Calheta. The city of Funchal (capital) offers entertaining nightlife, traditional / modern dining and shopping experience in newly built Malls. Golf: Madeira is a golfers paradise because it’s subtropical climate guarantees all year round blue skies and stunning views over the ocean, steep cliffs and most of all, great golf courses. There are 2 excellent golf courses on Madeira, the Santo da Serra Golf Club and Palheiro Golf Club.
Ski: For those who are interested in knowing how the White Rum and Black Honey Cake are made, we recommend a tour of the ‘Engenho da Calheta’ the rum distillery where you can wander around and sample / purchase the produce.
Centro das Artes Casa da Mudas is a new fantastic art centre located in Calheta at the edge of a cliff overlooking the sea.
The capital of the island is Funchal, a very attractive and contemporary town, has numerous restaurants and bars, nightclubs, large marina, excellent variety of individual International shops, several very interesting museums.

Rental rates are for 2 persons. For 3rd and 4th person it is £80 per person per week. Reservations: A 30% non-refundable deposit must accompany all bookings to obtain confirmation. Balance of rental is payable eight weeks before arrival date.
Minimum stay is 7 Nights however we will accommodate shorter stays at discounted rates whenever there are odd days available in between already booked dates.
Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency (GBP) unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.
