Near the Beach in Torremolinos

This is a nice flat, in a very quite building. It's close to both the downtown area and the beach of La Carihuela, both within walking distance.
The kitchen has very few utensils, (not even a coffee pot) but I think that's because instant coffee is the norm there, and Americans aren't use to that.
There is no air conditioning in the second bedroom, so you need to run the air in the living room and hope it reaches the other room during the night. It wasn't a huge problem later on in the evening, but as you first started sleeping is was a bit uncomfortable.
The biggest surprise is that the building itself is located between a high-speed railroad track and the main road into and out of town. Cars and motorcycles run 24/7. The noise wasn't bad in the living room for some reason, but the bedroom was a bit of an issue until you got to sleep. Must say it didn't bother my husband too much however, just me who is a light sleeper.
The view from the living room/deck is wonderful, and the deck is good size to sit out and have a meal or take a wonderful Spanish siesta.
Over all, we did enjoy ourselves!
Owner's Response: Thank you for taking the time to review our apartment and hope you and your family enjoyed your trip to Europe.
I would like to reply to some of your comments : We had a coffee percolator and did not replace it when it broke as it was rarely used due to I presume the delicious Spanish Café Con Leche which is available in the resort from as little as 50 cent. Other than the coffee pot referred to I am 100% satisfied that there is a plentiful supply of kitchen utensils in the apartment.
On the air conditioning I am sorry that you experienced any discomfort however we took the advice of the Air Conditioning Company who recommended that two units were sufficient for the size of the apartment and we have never received any complaints before.
My biggest shock however was your description that’ the building is located between a high speed railroad track and the main road’ the reality is that there is a one line train track at the back of the apartment complex where the local commuter train runs during the day between Malaga and Fuengirola.
I am happy to report that since we started renting the apartment that the majority of our renters return. We have very happy customers from England, Scotland, Ireland and Holland. In fact 75% of our bookings in 2009 were actually repeat bookings and all our bookings so far for 2010 are repeat bookings which I think speaks for itself.
