This beautiful subunit of a huge, castle-like home in Oceanside is a wonderful place to bring the family for a beach getaway! With beach access just two blocks away, fabulous ocean views from inside, and all the comforts of home, this vacation rental is just waiting for you.
When you stay in this home, you will love the quiet neighborhood, proximity to the beach, and central location. Situated right in Oceanside, this home is walkable to the beach (though the quickest route does involve a staircase) and to a cafe in town, and is just a quick five-minute drive north to the lovely Cape Meares Lighthouse.
This two-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment can accommodate up to five people (four adults maximum). If you have a larger group, you may even rent the entirety of this house together! This unit does welcome dogs, so bring your furry friends along with you (though a $10 nightly fee per pet, with a $40 minimum per stay applies).
A spacious and comfortable living room has windows that allow a great view of the ocean, plus a large TV equipped with cable and a DVD player. You will also have Internet access and your own washer and dryer in this home, so there's no need to worry about whether you packed enough clean socks!
In the full kitchen, you will be delighted to see all the appliances and tools you may need to prepare delicious meals during your stay. With a few extras, such as a blender and a waffle iron, you could whip up an amazing breakfast of fruit smoothies and waffles before heading out to the beach for an early-morning stroll.
In the evenings, sit out on your private balcony and enjoy a spectacular sunset, then head inside and sleep soundly in one of the two bedrooms (both of which have sumptuous queen-size beds). Someone could even sleep on the comfortable sofa and rest up for another day of walking on the beach.
This home would be a perfect place to bring a small family or group of friends to enjoy a vacation in a smaller coastal town. Oceanside has beautiful beaches, a small selection of eateries, and no shortage of charm, and you could also drive 15 miles east to reach Tillamook, which has many more dining and shopping opportunities, plus a famous (and delightful!) cheese factory.
Book a trip to this wonderful, clean, and comfortable vacation house and get ready for some beach fun!

We were very happy with our stay. Small but had everything we needed. The parking was limited. We have a full size truck and had to take 2 spots. Luck for us no one was staying next to us. We will be back!
Fantastic views in a well-equipped rental unit. An otherwise perfect kitchen might benefit from a more simple coffee maker and teapot. From the balcony we saw whales spouting.
This is a perfect place for a getaway. It was clean, comfortable and the location is perfect and made for a nice walk back and forth to the beach.
Had a great time at the home, absolutely amazing view and the home had all the necessities needed to make it a relaxing and comforting weekend trip away :)
Such a cute little town!
We always stay on the Oregon coast at least twice a year. We have stayed at several different rentals from Seaside down to Lincoln City.
Our stay was at the end of January, we love the stormy weather at the beach but were surprised by the amazing weather near 70°! (the weather is usually around 40-50°) The views were stunning, and even though we did have neighbors, we didn't hear them once.
I loved that even though the bedrooms are on the back of the house, you can still hear the crashing waves at night.
The house seems to be well insulated, we turned the heat on in the bedrooms, and i actually had to get up in the middle of the night to turn it off, the heaters stayed off for our entire stay. The stairs to the beach were fine-the railing on the last part of the stairs is a bit rickety, so don't depend on it to balance yourself until it is more secure.
There is no cell service with AT&T or T-Mobile at the house, but you are there to enjoy 'beach time'-doing things at a slower pace. We didn't even turn on the TV until the last night of our stay-the 3rd night.
Some friends of ours haven't seen much of the Oregon coast, so we invited them to stay a few nights. The house is perfect for 4 adults, the couch is plenty roomy, and the adjustable coffee table was great! We know a few other couples, so we will be looking into renting the entire house.
I loved the little fish tiles in the bathroom that the original owner Berni painted, it was a great reminder of how the house got it's start.
I would stay here again and again...and again.
When we first pulled up to the rental, we thought someone else was in there because we saw light shining through the back window. However, it was from the sun shining through the windows! What a beautiful sight to see!
We loved the property, view, and Oceanside--so much that we are now plotting our move.
