CABIN IN THE COVE- New log cabin that allows you to get close to nature yet offers a comfortable home that is anything BUT rustic. Main level offers great room with vaulted ceiling, wood burning fireplace, kitchen, laundry, bedroom suite with full size bed and bath with jetted tub (great for relaxing after a long hike!) Upper level has loft area with Queen size Futon sofa bed, and TV with satelite dish and VCR. Bedroom with Queen bed and full bath. The decking on this house is almost completely wraps around the cabin offering covered and uncovered areas. The deck can be accessed from the front door, dining area door as well as the laundry area. The BBQ area is also a plus- and the landscaping has a very nice "natural" kind of feel. There is no trash collection at this home, but the neighborhood collection site is conveniently located within 2 miles of this home. One of the best features of this home is that when there- you really feel "at home". This cabin is located in Horse Cove- which is one of our most scenic areas and lies between Highlands and Cashiers. There are hiking trails nearby, and sites such as "The Iron Bridge", "Sliding Rock", and "Ellicott's Rock" are close by. ( In case you didn't know, Ellicott's rock is an actual spot that you can stand and be in three states at one time!) About 10 minutes to Main Street Highlands. NO PETS allowed, and NO SMOKING inside the cabin.
