La Calma Apartments, Alameda del Mar are located 5km south of bustling Torrevieja on the Orihuela Costa. It is a 5 min walk to the nearest beach which is situated between the blue flag La Zenia beach and Punta Prima beach. 2 minutes walk from the apartment are two large well stocked supermarkets, shops and several banks. Also within walking distance are a variety of bars and restaurants offering excellent cuisine and value for money. Every Friday, Torrevieja holds the largest market in southern Spain and on Saturday, Playa Flamenca holds its own market, which is within easy walking distance. Orihuela Costa is recognised as one of the healthiest places in Europe, and boasts an average 320 days of sunshine per year. If you want an activity or relaxing holiday, this is the ideal place for adults, children, the elderly or infirm.

  • £100 non returnable deposit is required at the time of booking. Balance to be paid 6 weeks prior to departure. £100 damage bond is also required with the balance, this will be returned after departure inspection has been carried out.
    On arrival €60 is required, for cleaning, towels, and hand over of keys. Arrivals between 10pm and 8am incur an additional €20 charge. Weekly clean and towel change is available at a cost of €25 payable locally. Bathroom towels are to be used only in the apartment, please supply your own beach / pool towels.
    Welcome packs, airport transfers can be arranged at extra cost.
    Normal time to vacate is 10am, this may be flexible depending on other bookings.
    Maximum occupancy 6, anyone exceeding this will be asked to leave the property immediately without a refund.

Notes: A spacious, south facing apartment tastefully furnished and equipped to a high standard. Ceiling fans in all bedrooms and lounge for your comfort. The lounge has 2 settees, satellite and English TV, DVD,CD, games and books. The south facing terrace has the sun from morning until late afternoon. There is a table and 6 chairs, a large umbrella and beach umbrella, 4 sunbeds, 2 beach chairs and a barbecue. The kitchen has a four ring hob, oven, microwave and fridge/freezer. A washing machine, clothes airer, iron and ironing board are available for use. This is a perfect place for a relaxing holiday where a car is not essential, as all amenities are within easy walking distance. If you wish to travel further afield, there are numerous car hire companies, taxis etc.within the locality. This is a no smoking apartment, and pets are not allowed.

POOL AND GARDENS: This apartment is perfectly placed to suit all ages and tastes. Perhaps you like to relax by the pool. Our apartment offers a private terrace with sunbeds a mere stone’s throw away from the pool so you can keep an eye on the kids whilst relaxing with a drink. There are umbrellas to shade under when the sun gets too hot and a variety of books and CDs available for your perusal. For those for whom the hot weather might be too much there is a television, equipped with Sky TV and a DVD player and a range of DVDs for you to watch , or you can just sit in the lounge looking through the large patio windows at the pool and gardens.

BEACH LOVERS: The beach lovers among you can walk down to one of many beaches nearby or drive to one of several other beaches in the area. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you might need for this trip, this includes beach chairs, mats, umbrella and cool box. For the more energetic there are some toys and games which help to make a great fun day for all the family.

EVENING AND NIGHTS: In the evenings the possibilities are endless. Within easy walking distance are many bars and restaurants with a variety of cuisine and price ranges. Or you may prefer to ‘throw some shrimps on the Barbie’ and relax on the terrace. There is also a fully equipped kitchen if you want to rustle up a meal. All in all this apartment is equipped with everything you could want. Be it a relaxing day by the pool, an action packed day at the beach, fun nights out or a quiet night on your own terrace overlooking the floodlit pool and gardens, we can cater to your every need.

Long Weekend

Stayed for a long weekend with friends. Apartment was fantasic. Had everything we needed and more. .
Apartment is on the ground floor with a large patio area with enough chairs for everyone. The pool was just outside the gate so would be ideal for families with young children.

Local area was very good for eating out and having a drink with friends. Local supermarket is at the end of the road. All within walking distance.

Look forward to returning soon.

Clean and Modern Appartment

We had a lovely week at the appartment nice and clean with plenty of room. The pool was very nice with well kept gardens. I enjoyed the patio area with my ice cold beer in the evenings while I waited for the girls to get ready for our nights out. All together a very nice holiday. The owner made sure everything was ok even phoning us when we had a slight problem with the parking bay which was purley a mis-understanding. The only thing I would like to be changed is the beds as they are a little uncomfortable but this is only a small thing and I suppose all beds in Spain are the same. Felt very secure in the complex with no problems and the on-site security officer was very pleasant

We would like to say thanks for letting us stay in your holiday home, we had a great time, the apt is in an ideal location for you to sit and relax while we were still able to watch the kids as they played in the pool. The apt had everything we needed and the property management that we meet were very nice and very helpful as this was our first time visiting the area. The kids had a great time and are looking forward to going back, they loved the commercial centre and we were very relaxed with the kids there.

Great place to stay with the kids

The apartment was very clean and homely, with decorations which made you feel home from home. Plenty of space to live in and a pool in the back garden almost. Kids loved it and one day stayed in the pool almost all day. With the large patio having a view of the pool you did not need to leave your own comforts and also watch the kids at the same time, which is ideal for us as a family.

We have been to the apartment development before and knew that the area was ideal for families and not a place for culture and Spanish way of life. But for us this was ideal as we just needed sun and relaxation
