Paul and Dawn are happy to advise on where to visit, from a selection of local restaurants to a scramble to the top of Sierra Crestellina, the Snowdon sized peak overlooking the valley, Paul can on occasion, with a promise of cold beer to follow, be persuaded to act as guide to the top. There are any number of walks to do and beauty spots to visit, by car or on foot within easy striking distance. A walk up the river is one of the most popular with guests. once again, cold beer enthuses Paul to start walking. A good day out can be had in Gibraltar, only an hour away, or even Tangier in Morocco with an early start. Another interesting visit is Ronda, only just over an hour away by a stunningly scenic road thrugh the Sierra. Ronda, with its famous gorge, Arabic and Roman remains, and many other sights is one of Andalucia´s most famous towns. Or you can take the scenic railway, from tiny Colmenar, in the morning, all the way to Ronda and return in the afternoon in time for tea.
