This ground floor Spanish apartment with air conditioning offers the ideal setting for a self catering holiday or long term rental on the Coata Blanca. The bedrooms both have ceiling fans and plenty of cupboard space the master bedroom also has a safe fitted. The kitchen is well equipped for those who wish to eat in, although with the many bars and restaurants in the area there is plenty of choice for eating out. There is a separate utility area with a washing machine and drying area. The patio overlooks parking and green area. You can walk to the local beaches at Playa del Cura and Los Locos. Local bars & shops are within a short walking distance.

Local amenities: Local amenities are located a five minute walking distance away, there is a small supermarket, an Indian restaurant, fast food take-away and 3 pubs serving food. One of the pubs has an internet availability. Within ten minutes walking, there is Mercadona, Aldi and Champion. In the other direction, ten minutes walk towards the sea, brings you to another Mercadona. The hypermarket, Carrefour is worth a visit, and also the shopping centre which is next to it. Most shopping can be done in the local markets, which are definitely worth a look. On a Friday Torrevieja has one of the largest markets in Spain. The Aqua Park is open in the summer months between June and September and is not far from the apartment, (well worth a visit for the youngsters).

Golf: You can leave the family at the beach and enjoy yourself away from them at one of Spain's many Golf courses. The Villamartin Championship Golf Course is located about two miles away. Also there are courses at Las Rambles and Campoamor which are a short distance away. Clubs may be hired, as well as electric buggies. You can finish the day with refreshments at the restaurants or clubhouses.

The coast : There are some lovely places to visit along the coast. Alicante has beautiful beaches with esplanades to stroll along. There are water sports to enjoy as well as numerous restaurants and bars. Further down the coast is Santa Pola, a very pretty Spanish seaside town and fishing port well worth a walk around. Guadamar is a lovely place to visit, with wonderful beaches to sunbathe on. Bars and restaurants are on the sea front at La Mata, which is a popular local beach. The promenade is always a busy place, where you can watch the world go by whilst having a relaxing drink or snack at one of the bars.

Aguas Nuevas is on the northern side of Torrevieja, which is a busy, bustling town with a wide a range of facilities and amenities. It has seven blue flag beaches, a marina, a casino, a sports centre and tennis courts, museums, parks and churches, there are numerous shops, restaurants and bars and in this thriving tourist resort. There are excellent shopping facilities, including a Carrefour hypermarket only a short distance away. Some areas of Torrevieja have been designated as protected nature reserves and park lands, which you can enjoy walking through. The two large salt lakes are home to flamingos, seabirds and wildlife. The air is clean and pure, ideal for those with asthma or chest complaints. Torrevieja is a good base for exploring the rest of the coastal area. There are also numerous pubs and clubs in the near by Centre for the young at heart or those who just like to party. The airports of Alicante and Murcia are both about 30 mins away.

Notes

  • On booking the apartment, a deposit of £100 is payable in order to secure the dates, this deposit will be held against any damage / breakeages and refunded at the end of the stay. 6 weeks before the arrival date, the full balance is required. Towels are provided for use in the apartment but please bring your own beach/pool towels. Guests can not check in before 2pm on the day of arrival and are required to vacate by 10am on the day of departure unless different time have been agreed with the owner when booking, this is to allow time for the apartment to be cleaned. There is a 45 euro cleaning / laundry charge payable at the end of your stay.

Great Holiday Great Price

Very well maintained & spacious apartment. The front garden area gets sun all day. There are plenty of local british owned bars within walking distance, The Black Dog being the closest - just a few minutes away. Head up towards The Old Bull & Bush & you'll find, aswell as other bars etc, a Mercadona, an Aldi, a Taxi rank & bus stop should you not wish to walk into Torre. It's a fair walk but not too far...
The nearest beach is really at Playa de los Locos - about a 20 minute walk past more bars & a shop. Here you'll find the 222 club open all day for food & all night for drinks. And on this beach you can even pick up free wi-fi from a nearby restaurant.
I would probably have rated the apartment with 4 stars as it would have been better if closer to the beach... but if it had been closer to the beach it would have been more expensive! For the price we paid it is an excellent place to stay so I gave it 5 stars. Would definitely recommend it!!
Owner's Response: There is a closer beach only 10 minute walk away, although it's small and little secluded, so it really depnds what you like.

Fantastic Holiday Aprtment

Just got back from staying in this apartment and want to go back already! The apartment was perfect, when we arrived it was spotlessly clean and very welcoming. It had everything we needed and even had all the bbq equipment so we didnt even have to go out looking for things. It is very spacious and was comfortable for us with 4 adults and 3 children. The location of the apartment is excellent as its in walking distance to the beach, restaurants, bars and water park etc

The key holders were very friendly and helpful, picking us up from the airport and taking us back at the end.

We had a brilliant holiday and will hopefully be going back soon! Would recommend this apartment to anybody

The full package for little money.

This holiday home was equipt with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The facilities were good and the apartment was very clean and spacious.

The swimming pool was also very clean and was a welcome relief after a days shopping to cool down. We had it to ourselves most everytime.

The nearby shops, cafe's and restaurants provided excellent food at very little cost.

The bus service into town was very useful and at a minimal cost, also a very regualr service made it a good option.We did use taxi's a lot and even they were at a fair price.

The added extra's for us was the help we recieved from the key holders. They picked us up from the airport and took us back for our return flights at a very fair price.

All in all we had a lovely holiday at a very good price for the apartment, and the owner was more than helpful with the information he gave and keeping us right on all we needed to know.

I would recommend this as a holiday destination for both families and adults who just want to get away, as it is a very peaceful place too.

Excellent Apartment

The apartment itself was excellent, very modern & clean, with everything you would need for your holiday. Plenty of Linen & towels provided. The swimming pool area was lovely always very clean and never too crowded.

The apartment was set in a fairly new area, it had all been built in the last 4 years. There were a few nice bars and restaurants, & supermarkets all withtin walking distance. We used Taxi's to take us down to the harbour, but could be walked. The taxi service was very good and would be there within a few minutes.

We went with a mixed group of friends whole all enjoyed the holiday and we would definately consider returning.

Fantastic Holiday

The apartment was spot on. Location was excellent not to far from the beach shops bars etc. No problem from any off the locals they are very friendly. Apartment was spotless when we arrived,there was milk in the fridge and a few snacks on arrival. The swimming pool was great not to busy at times had the pool to ourselves. The owner is very polite and very good with communcation,was very helpful. Alot off english/irish bars around with friendly people. I would 100% recommend this apartment for a holiday to spain wether its for a family or young persons holiday it has everything u would need. I am going back in August with family as it was such a great holiday and so cheap. Many thanks !!
