Villa was nice but management company needs a clue

Villa was very nice, however, when we arrived the refrigerator was not working properly. Of course this happens when there are 13 of staying in the house and we have purchased about $500 worth of food for the week. It took 3 days to get resolution to the refrigerator situation, during which time we were living out of coolers and buying ice every few hours. Overall a very frustrating experience because we had to repeatedly call the management company and were not receiving responses from them.
There were other maintenance items that were not attended to as well. Pool lights did not work, light under microwave did not work, so we cooked in the dark. Garage door handle was broken so it took two people to open the garage door. The coffee maker didn't work, so we purchased a new one (and left it behind for the next guests). No telling when or if that would ever get replaced. Carpets are pretty dirty, many stains that have not been attended to. The small outdoor grill delivered by the management company was filthy. All minor things, but they tend to add up.
The Villa itself is very nice, has a great layout for a large family, and the pool area is exquisite. It is obvious the owners took great care in decorating and providing all the comforts of home. The management company, however, leaves much to be desired.

Owner's Response: We have taken into consideration the comments in the review - both positive and negative and decided that it was time to change management company. The new company is a husband and wife team who live on the development and only handle properties on our community. This will give a much more personal service to our guests and ensure that our home is always beautiful for our guests!
