Located in the heart of the Lomagne, Lectoure overlooks the Gers valley, on top of white rocks. It is a town of history and art, with an elaborate architectural set: the St Gervais cathedral, the former bishop's palace, the Diane fountain, its archaeological museum and its numerous town houses... Known as one of the oldest Gers towns, its foundation dates back to the Gallo-Roman era. It is part of the so-called Gers golden triangle thanks to its architecture and its views.
