We are property owners in Michigan who fell in love with Siesta Key and decided to invest for our future life there. So we bought 'Bungalow', put our heart and souls into making it a nice place and will rent it out for the next few years to a lucky few.
That's me, laying on the lounge chair in the main picture by the pool. My wife took it after during a short break on one of the days when we were outfitting Bungalow.
The Owner purchased this house in 2012
Palm Island is a quiet neighborhood on Siesta Key with little traffic and easy walk and bike access to the joys of the Siesta Key Public beach and village and a short drive to all the wonders of Sarasota, Longboat and Lido Key. The median age of Sarasota is 47! That makes for a very vibrant and diverse activity level in this area. Fun for all ages.
The tropical landscape, quality of construction, unique interior design, the lush pool area on the Grand Canal and the short walk to the beach are what make Bungalow unique and beautiful. You don't know you're a few 100 yards away from what could be 1000s of people enjoying the ocean at peak season! You get both privacy, beach, restaurant, boating activity with a lovely and relaxing pool setting and alfresco shower. We fell in love with it.
At 130 Island Circle, Drive, 34242 on Palm Island of Siesta Key.
Great restaurants in Siesta Key Village, a very short drive, or take one of the onsite bikes or the free electric taxis.
Rent a motorboat at the Siesta Key Marina on Stickney bridge and cruise the ICW, Sarasota Bay, and the Grand Canal to Bungalow where you can tie at your dock and enjoy your own private pool.
Drive to Sarasota and visit the Ringling museum's incredible display of circus miniatures. Or go to historic downtown Sarasota for great dining, shopping and antiquing (8 miles)
From Sarasota go over the bridge to Lido Key, Longboat Key and St. Armand's Circle for more great restaurants, shopping and another great beach (15 miles)
Siesta Key Public Beach '#1 Beach in U.S.A.' - is a 5 minute walk. We go for runs, enjoy sunsets and play in the waves on the beach then head home to the outdoor shower and pool to freshen up.
Parks and other attractions of Orlando (Disney World, etc.) are an easy 2 hour drive
