Located on the inner courtyard, one back from the front and north facing you will never miss a sunset from this place. And you actually get ocean views from inside of the unit, not just from the lanai.

Please take a look at our photos and you'll see that they are actual pictures of the unit and upon your arrival you will say that the pictures do not do this place justice. Also, know that this unit has the highly desirable 1315 sq ft floorplan. If you want to make your trip special this is the unit for you.

This is the first whole ownership condo to be built on Kaanapali Beach in over 30 years. Most of the competition is requiring their owners to remodel their units to stay competitive with Honua Kai. This particular ocean view 2 bedroom is located in the inner courtyard.

We use a mainland phone number for convenience. The bellmen are all real good guys and more interested in showing 'Aloha' then caring who you are renting from. We provide high quality beach towels for your use at the pool and beach.

We will accommodate free early check-in or late check outs when the schedule allows. We understand that many flights arrive late morning and that many flights depart late at night. We were regulars on that red eye to San Francisco, so we get it.

Great resort and even better unit

Our family of 5 got to Honua Kai at night and Joe met us as we pulled up to the lobby. He gave us a thorough tour of unit which was very clean and spacious. There was a bottle of champagne with glasses for us in the refrigerator and a box of chocolates and a bag of coffee for us on the counter. The next morning I went into the living area and the beauty of the view stopped me in my tracks. I could not have asked for a better view. The unit is beautifully furnished, the kitchen is well equipped, and comes with all the extras needed for the beach. An added bonus is the unit has L'Occitane amentiies and basic kitchen needs (foil, baggies, napkins, salt, pepper, dishwasher soap, hand soap, laundry soap, etc.). We really liked the Aina Market on property and the fitness center. The beds in the unit were extremely comfortable.

Joe had provided beach chairs, boogie boards and a cooler which was much appreciated and saved us renting. We plan to return for the whale watching.

Worth every penny

The four of us (my sister and our husbands) could not have been more pleased with our experience at Honua Kai. The unit is extremely clean and well appointed with everything needed, including beach gear. We loved having our morning coffee on the lanai with nobody in front of us and we loved ending the day on the lanai with a glass of wine watching the sunset. Wow doesn’t properly explain this unit’s location. Yes we paid a little more for it, but I would do it again, it’s that good. As for the Resort, the convenience of being able to walk to a full service grocery store was important to us. The pools areas are well maintained, and although it was a busy time, we generally had no trouble finding loungers. The pool below the unit is a quiet pool so we liked that. We found Joe and Rhonda easy to work with. Having Joe meet us on arrival and personally show us into the unit was a great indication of how they care about their guests.
