Dunedin Cottage Rental Photos and Description
Dunedin “Cottage” has Everything Needed to Relax
Get away to a quaint, quiet, well-built bargain of a holiday cottage. You’ll likely want to read a book on the “dock” deck overlooking a tranquil pond that hosts a nearly private island.
The well-insulated newly-updated air-conditioned cottage accommodations include two comfortable queen size bedrooms, a bathroom with a beautifully tiled walk-in shower, a great room with hardwood floors and an HD TV and (free) high-speed internet, a lanai (aka Florida Room) for dining overlooking the pond, and a well-equipped kitchen (with an LP gas stove). The kitchen is equipped with an oven/stove & microwave, dishes & cooking utensils, full-size refridge & freezer, toaster & coffee maker.
All bath & bed linens provided. If you must do that load of laundry, you have access to a washer & dryer on property.
The park has three swimming pools for your use, one of which is heated.
Within walking distance is the cozy Dunedin downtown area, where you’ll find art galleries, restaurants with patio dining and unique shops. Two public golf courses are nearby or get in your car for fun restaurants in Palm Harbor or Clearwater and nightlife in South Tampa, Ybor City and Hyde Park.
For the restless ones, the Tampa Aquarium, Tampa Zoo, Busch Gardens, Adventure Island and St. Pete Museums are easily accessible.
For physical exercise, pick-up the 54 mile Pinellas Trail just a short ½ mile bike ride from the cottage or drive 10 minutes to the famous Clearwater Beach or Honeymoon and Caladesi Island State Parks for beaching, swimming, snorkeling, sailing, wind-surfing, jet-skiing and kayaking.
The Dunedin area enjoys near perfect weather, with an average summer high of 80 degrees and a winter low of 62 degrees. Average rainfall is 50 inches per year with the usual summertime afternoon showers.
Back at the cottage around sunset, fire up the commercial grade grill under the island pavilion and have a picnic dinner overlooking the water. This little get-away is a refreshing alternative to the crowded high-rise condos you'll find closer to the water.

About Jude Creamer
Greg travels abundantly doing his dream job, and I get to tag along (often to really wonderful places) ... until sometimes I cough 'Uncle' and I retreat to La Petite Auberge Creamerie. Our primary residence is in the Atlanta area (although we both have our roots in the midwest) and we both love getting away to our 'cottage'.
Jude Creamer purchased this cottage in 2014
Why Jude Creamer chose Dunedin
We've always wanted a little get-away near the beach - and this one provides us the best of all worlds: an easy car drive from Atlanta (and a hop, skip & jump to the Tampa airport), plenty of culture, shopping & activities, the Gulf breeze, beautifully renovated cottage, good amenities and affordability! We'd love to share it with you.
What makes this cottage unique
Quietude, solitude, comfort, informal living, affordability, convenience, and close proximity to any beach/water/outdoor activity you would want! Best of all, no elevators and noisy neighbors!
